✅ Degree in Electronic Engineering or similar.
✅ Experience in the development of aeronautical hardware systems.
✅ Solid experience in hardware architecture and requirements definition.
✅ Deep knowledge of aeronautical regulations and safety-critical design standards.
✅ Analytical skills, functional decomposition, and rigorous technical writing.

• Regulations and standards: DO‑254, DO‑160, ARP4754, ARP4761, MIL‑STD, ED‑153, ED‑109, EN‑50128.
• Traceability and lifecycle management.
• Digital architectures, communication buses, and programmable logic.
• Electronic design and high-frequency conversion.
• Functional integration and interpretation of system specifications.
• IPC standards and manufacturability criteria.
• Generation of test documentation (plans, procedures, reports).
• Documentation by development phase (PDR / CDR / TRR / FDR).
• Analysis of requirements vs. test traceability.

In our position as a leading company in the Aerospace and Defense sector, we are looking to hire a Senior Avionics Hardware Systems Engineer to participate in the SANTAM project, taking on a key role in hardware architecture definition, requirements management, and ensuring compliance with regulations in critical avionics systems.

You will join the SANTAM Project, focused on the development of high-criticality avionics hardware systems, where architecture, requirements traceability, and certification are key elements for delivering safe, robust, and certifiable solutions.

You will work in a highly specialized environment, with direct impact on real aeronautical systems.

• Define the hardware architecture of aeronautical electronic systems.
• Specify, manage, and maintain hardware requirements traceability.
• Participate in safety analyses and support safety processes (ARP4754 / ARP4761).
• Technically supervise the hardware design throughout the entire lifecycle.
• Act as the technical point of contact, coordinating with other engineering teams.
• Ensure compliance with DO‑254 (up to DAL‑B) and related standards.
• Manage and review technical evidence and lifecycle data.
• Participate in technical reviews (PDR, CDR, TRR, FDR).
• Collaborate with verification, certification, and quality teams.
