The role

We are looking for a Perimeter Security Technician with experience in managed security environments and a strong orientation toward the operation, administration, and continuous improvement of web protection platforms to join our cybersecurity team. The selected person will participate in the management and evolution of security services for multiple clients within a SOC environment, ensuring the availability, effectiveness, and correct functioning of perimeter protection solutions. They will work in collaboration with operations, networks, and security teams to strengthen the cybersecurity posture of clients against increasingly sophisticated threats. We are looking for an analytical, decisive profile with the ability to adapt to dynamic and constantly evolving technological environments.

What you'll do

  • Administer, configure, and maintain perimeter security platforms, with a special focus on secure proxy solutions and web security.
  • Manage the daily operation of assigned security services, ensuring compliance with service levels and the correct handling of requests and incidents.
  • Analyze, monitor, and manage security events and incidents related to web traffic, corporate browsing, and Internet access systems.
  • Perform advanced troubleshooting tasks for the resolution of complex incidents, identifying root causes and implementing corrective and preventive measures.
  • Evaluate, design, and implement changes in configurations, filtering policies, and security controls, ensuring the balance between protection, performance, and business needs.
  • Participate in the study and validation of new integrations and functionalities of security platforms, contributing to the technological evolution of managed services.
