The role

The Treasury Specialist is responsible for leading the cash management, liquidity planning, banking relationships and treasury operations across Iberia & Latam. The role ensures optimal cash utilization, supports working capital improvement initiatives and contributes to the financial performance and risk management of the region.

The position requires strong collaboration with Finance Directors, Accounting, Controlling, Tax, Operations and Group Treasury to maximize cash generation, improve forecasting accuracy and ensure compliance with Group policies.

What you'll do

  • Manage daily liquidity and cash positioning across Iberia & Latam entities.
  • Ensure adequate funding and optimize cash allocation across countries.
  • Monitor cash balances, intercompany funding requirements and cash concentration structures.
  • Identify opportunities to improve cash generation and reduce financing needs.
  • Lead short-term and medium-term cash forecasting processes.
  • Challenge country forecasts and improve forecasting accuracy.
  • Analyze cash variances and identify risks and opportunities.
  • Provide regular visibility to regional and Group management.
  • Drive initiatives aimed at improving cash conversion and reducing working capital requirements.
  • Closely monitor AR, Unbilled, Deferred Revenue, Overdues and DSO.
  • Support collection acceleration plans alongside Finance and Operations teams.
  • Track and report TCC performance and corrective actions.
  • Manage relationships with regional and local banking partners.
  • Support financing initiatives, including credit facilities, guarantees, factoring, securitization and other working capital solutions.
  • Coordinate bank guarantee issuance, renewals and optimization.
  • Support discussions regarding new financing structures and treasury tools.
  • Ensure treasury processes are compliant with Group policies and internal controls.
  • Oversee payment processes, cash controls and signatory management.
  • Manage treasury risks related to liquidity, FX and counterparty exposure.
  • Support audit requests and treasury-related compliance activities.
  • Prepare treasury and cash performance reporting for regional management and Group Treasury.
  • Monitor key treasury KPIs.
  • Present cash performance, risks and mitigation plans during management reviews.
  • Support M&A transactions, integrations, carve-outs and restructuring initiatives.
  • Participate in treasury transformation and process improvement projects.
