Job description

Would you like to be part of an innovative project with social impact? At Innovamat we are looking for someone like you 😎

About us 🚀

Innovamat is an educational organization focused on mathematics learning. Its purpose is to help improve how this subject is learned by offering resources, training, and research to the educational community.

Founded in 2017 in Barcelona, Innovamat works with 27,000 teachers across more than 2,600 schools in Spain, the United States, Mexico, Italy, Chile, Ecuador, Colombia, and Peru, helping over 600,000 students learn math by fostering deep understanding and competency development.

Your mission 🎯

You will join our team of secondary math didactics experts, and your mission will be to ensure the pedagogical quality and depth of Innovamat's implementation in secondary schools.

You will play a key role in training and providing pedagogical support to both teachers and Innovamat's internal teams, helping to raise the mathematical and didactic knowledge of the entire organization.

In collaboration with the Key Account Managers and the rest of the pedagogical team, you will design and implement training and classroom interventions that ensure a solid, coherent math practice aligned with Innovamat's approach.

Your day-to-day at Innovamat 🏁

  • You will actively participate in internal training sessions on secondary math didactics, with the goal of deepening mathematical and pedagogical knowledge.

  • You will collaborate on the design and implementation of the internal training plan, supporting the commercial and advisor teams to improve their understanding of math didactics and the Innovamat proposal.

  • You will regularly visit secondary schools to deliver training sessions for teaching staff, adapting content to different grade levels.

  • You will go into math classrooms to conduct observations, model sessions, and teaching practices, with the aim of supporting teachers in improving their practice.

  • You will provide pedagogical and technical feedback to teaching staff after classroom observations, helping them reflect and evolve in their math teaching.

  • You will directly manage some secondary schools when deep, highly technical didactic interventions in math are required.

  • You will coordinate with teams in your region and with the pedagogical team to identify needs, share learning, and provide solutions to everyday didactic challenges.

  • You will attend events, training sessions, and gatherings in the education sector related to math didactics.

  • You will be part of an agile team characterized by shared responsibility, interdependence, and continuous learning.

What are we looking for? 🔍

  • University degree in a scientific field (Mathematics, Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, etc.).

  • Genuine passion for math didactics and educational impact. Strong mathematical ability and ease in understanding and analyzing mathematical content.

  • Good communication skills in Catalan and Spanish.

  • Dynamism and proactivity in problem-solving, with a capacity for learning and adaptation.

  • Ease in connecting with teachers and educational teams, building trusting relationships.

  • Good communication skills, both in training contexts and in pedagogical support settings.

  • Willingness to work as part of a team and collaborate with diverse profiles within the organization.

  • Organization, enthusiasm, and intellectual curiosity.

  • Ability to thrive in environments with some pressure and intense rhythms.

  • Driving license

And if you also have…

  • Experience delivering teacher training or supporting methodological change processes.

  • Experience working with different pedagogical models or innovative approaches in mathematics.

  • Interest in the education sector, impact-driven projects, and dynamic environments.

...that would be wonderful, though not essential :)

What can you expect from Innovamat? 🤗

Our culture and values define who we are and how we work. We believe that how we do things is just as important as what we do. We know this is not the right place for everyone—and that's okay. Here is what you can expect when you join our team:

We aim high: We set ambitious goals and work with determination and passion to transform education. Here you can grow as much as you want, surrounded by people who push you, inspire you, and help you bring out your best.

We are owners: From day one, you will have real impact. We are not here just to execute, but to think, decide, and build. We trust you to take initiative, propose ideas, and see them become reality.

We move fast: We work in a dynamic environment where agility and adaptability make the difference. You will feel the pace, the energy, and the excitement of learning quickly, acting with good judgment, and making things happen.

We are eager to learn: We are curious, we question things, and we share what we learn. Every challenge is an opportunity to improve and keep growing, both individually and as a team.

We are humble: We foster a culture of trust and feedback where everyone has a voice. We listen actively, collaborate, and value ideas for their impact. Here you will find a team always ready to help, share, and celebrate achievements together.

We enjoy the ride: Our impact depends on the people who make it possible. That's why we take care of our culture with trust, flexibility, and well-being. We offer flexible hours, time off during the Christmas week, and flexible compensation. And, of course, we love reconnecting during team-building events that remind us why we do what we do!
