Requirements

What we're looking for

Education and Experience:
- Electrical Engineering or equivalent degree.
- More than 5 years of experience in detailed design of High Voltage substations (>66 kV).
- Experience in electrical infrastructure projects for transmission and distribution.
Skills and Knowledge:
- Experience in preparing single-line diagrams and substation layouts.
- Experience in drafting technical specifications for equipment and electrical switchgear.
- Experience in developing electromechanical assembly drawings.
- Knowledge of Red Eléctrica de España (REE) standards.
- Valuable knowledge of Iberdrola Distribución standards and/or Endesa Distribución.
- Experience in design and calculation of MV and HV lines.
- Knowledge of PLSCAD.
- Experience in design and calculation of grounding grids for substations.
- Experience in projects developed with BIM methodology.
- English level B2 or higher.

The role

Job Offer: High Voltage (HV) Specialist Engineer

At Grupo INVOIN, we are looking for a High Voltage (HV) Specialist Engineer to join an important electrical engineering project. We are looking for a profile with experience in the detailed design of High Voltage substations, capable of developing technical documentation, participating in electrical infrastructure projects, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams in national and international environments.

What you'll do

Develop the detailed engineering of High Voltage substations (>66 kV).
Prepare single-line diagrams and substation layouts.
Draft technical specifications for equipment and electrical switchgear.
Develop detailed drawings for the electromechanical assembly of installations.
Design and calculate lines for Medium Voltage (MV) and High Voltage (HV).
Design and calculate grounding grids for electrical substations.
Apply the regulations and technical standards required by system operators and distribution companies.
Coordinate with other disciplines during the development of engineering projects.
Participate in projects developed using BIM methodology.
