Requirements

What we're looking for

Minimum qualification: Higher Technician in Clinical Coding (ICD-10) or equivalent training
Previous experience in clinical coding (internships and initial experience will be valued)
Interest in clinical coding and motivation to develop a broader vision oriented toward data and healthcare management.
Strong command of Excel and PowerPoint.
Good level of English.
Organized, flexible person, with adaptability and a desire to learn.
Ability to work in teams and in dynamic environments.

The role

At IQVIA, the Healthcare team works with hospitals and public health administrations on improvement, innovation, and transformation processes, combining data analysis, organizational knowledge, and extensive sector expertise, and is currently looking for an intern eager to learn and start their career in the healthcare sector!

What you'll do

Coding of clinical episodes using the ICD-10 classification, ensuring accuracy and quality in the data.
Review and validation of coded information, guaranteeing its consistency and reliability.
Support in hospital inquiries related to clinical data, indicators, and the use of digital platforms.
Support in the basic analysis of clinical and operational data, identifying relevant patterns and trends.
Help in the preparation of reports, presentations, and other deliverables for clients and internal teams.
Coordination with multidisciplinary teams (clinical, analytical, and management).
