Production Planner Castings

• Experience and knowledge in: At least two/three years of experience in the production/planning field, demonstrating experience in some of the responsibilities defined for this position, knowledge of lean manufacturing, and SAP management.

• Soft Skills: working in multidisciplinary teams, orientation towards improvement, strong interpersonal skills, adaptability, dialogue and negotiation, leadership capacity, and a positive impact on the organization and improvement activities.

• Education: Intermediate or higher University degree.

• Languages: English level C2.

In the midst of the Casting Business growth process and with Investment Casting being a core process at ITP Aero, we are looking to incorporate a person into the production planning team within the ITP Aero Castings planning and logistics team.

• Visualization of WIP throughout the entire value stream, locating deviations against target WIP.
• Identification of risks due to lack of capacity, interventions, drops in production rates, and holiday periods.
• Mold - Metal coordination, ensuring the connection between both plants by reporting deficits or excess castings and providing priority signals for launches.
• Definition of production sequence at strategic points of the line, based on the weekly capacity of the line.
• Detection of short-term production deficits and problems, seeking solutions or escalating alarms. Drawing up plans to recover lost capacity.
• Providing accurate weekly and monthly delivery plans that include incidents occurring on the manufacturing line and with suppliers.
• Launching orders to lines and suppliers, providing them with two weeks of visibility, prioritizing parts that pose delivery limitations.
• Monitor and report line and supplier rates, comparing them against the manufacturing plan rate (Line of balance).
• Monitor and report adherence to the established manufacturing plan, ensuring that resources and capacity are used on limiting parts.
• Capacity load analysis according to demonstrated and theoretical rates, supporting the preparation of the new PMP for the following quarter.
• Management and escalation of alarms.

Tactical Planning

You will report hierarchically to the Planning Manager, collaborating in the plant scheduling process by coordinating internal and external activities associated with the manufacturing process.

You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of people from different fields (Technology, Engineering, Quality, Planning, Purchasing, Production).

You will work at ITP Aero Castings.
