Supplier Quality Assurance

• Education: Intermediate or higher University Degree.
• Experience and knowledge in: continuous improvement techniques Problem solving, FMEAs, MSAs, SPCs..., knowledge in First Article Validation, knowledge of Dimensional Inspection and NDTs, Casting processes, machining and / or Welding, knowledge in Lean Manufacturing, experience in Continuous Improvement tools (Problem solving, PFMEAs, SPC, MSAs..) and experience in Product Quality Assurance activities.
• Languages: English level C1 or equivalent

• Soft Skills: Teamwork, proactivity, boldness, commitment, decision-making ability, customer orientation, and achievement of objectives.

In the midst of the growth process of the Casting Business and since the Lost Wax Casting Process is a core process in ITP Aero, we are looking to incorporate an SQA into the Supply Chain Quality area of ITP Aero Castings.

We are looking for a responsible, bold, proactive, and committed person with a desire to learn and contribute, who enjoys challenges, is accustomed to working in a team, and has availability to travel.

• Validation of new suppliers.
• Ensuring compliance with Quality requirements by the supplier.
• Product Validation through First Article Inspection.
• Approval of inspection plans at suppliers.
• Process / product audits at suppliers.
• Management of Non-Conformities and escapes.
• Ensuring adherence to the AS13100 standard
• Change Management and Control
• Support in the management of non-conformities detected internally with supplier origin.
• Industrialization process through PPAP / APQP / Flowcharts / PFMEAs / MSAs / SPCs / Control methodologies
• Meet the objectives set annually for cost reduction.

Who will you be working with?

You will report hierarchically to the SQA Manager.

You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of people from different fields (Technology, Engineering, Factory Quality, Planning, Purchasing, Production).

You will work at the ITP Aero Castings plant in Barakaldo.
