The role

Director Of Revenue Operations | Based in Barcelona

Kantox is a Barcelona-based fintech acquired by BNP Paribas in 2022. As Director of Revenue Operations, you will sit at the intersection of internal commercial execution and parent company alignment, reporting directly to the Chief Commercial Officer.

This is not a coordination role. You will own the RevOps function, lead the relationship with BNP Paribas commercial leadership, and drive the commercial initiatives that determine how Kantox scales.

What you'll do

Strategic Leadership

  • Working hand in hand with the Chief Commercial Officer
  • Building strategic reviews and recommendations for key meetings including Strategic Reviews with BNP, Kantox Board meetings, and Quarterly Commercial meetings
  • Ensuring all decisions made in the Commercial leadership team are executed seamlessly, in collaboration with Sales Team Managers
  • Orchestrating the work of all teams represented in the commercial organisation: Business Development, Sales, Implementation, Customer Success, and Marketing
  • Managing partnerships with third parties: animating those partnerships to extract the best of them, defining and executing processes to work efficiently with partners, and leading the training of the commercial team around those partnerships

People Leadership

  • Leading the Revenue Operations team (current organisation: 1 Sales Operations Specialist, 1 Implementation and Customer Specialist, 1 Marketing Specialist, 2 Quality Assurance Specialists, and 2 Salesforce Developers)
  • Building and developing your Revenue Operations team: establishing clear career pathways, identifying skill gaps, and driving upskilling in areas like CRM, analytics, and process design
  • Fostering career development and internal mobility: identifying high-potential team members, creating stretch assignments and mentoring opportunities, and supporting movement across the commercial function
  • Driving team engagement and culture: celebrating wins and ensuring your team understands how their work connects to commercial and organisational strategy

BNP Paribas Commercial Relations

  • Representing the commercial organisation in recurrent BNPP stakeholder meetings: preparing agendas, presenting KPIs, deal status, and pipeline intelligence
  • Coordinating efforts across local markets with Kantox and BNP local sales to ensure execution of the priorities defined in regular Kantox/BNPP meetings
  • Managing BNP compliance and risk requests related to the commercial organisation including process improvement and executing internal audit recommendations

AI and Productivity

  • Recommending new workflows for Sales, Customer Success, Implementation, and Revenue Operations leveraging AI
  • Making the best of our tech stack using the AI capabilities of our providers
  • Increasing sales closing ratio by enhancing the sales cycle with AI

Key Commercial Meetings

  • Owning the organisation and content of key internal commercial meetings: sales kickoffs, quarterly commercial committee, and weekly Sales meetings
  • Acting as a speaker at those events to give a clear vision of the commercial organisation's direction

Budget, Targets, and Compensation

  • Participating in budget preparation with Finance and Senior Sales Management
  • Designing commission plans with the CCO and following their proper execution
  • Leveraging and administering SPIFF programs

Revenue Operations

  • Being fully responsible for the reliability of all reporting for Senior Management, mainly Power BI and Salesforce dashboards, with the support of our Power BI specialists
  • Overseeing the full RevOps tech stack including CRM, sales tools, and analytics, alongside team development and process optimisation
  • Designing and driving revenue operations initiatives across sales process improvement, continuous training, forecasting accuracy, pricing strategies, and operational efficiency
  • Ensuring the forecasting process is followed diligently across the commercial organisation, with clear accountability at every stage of the pipeline
  • Driving continuous improvement across all key sales velocity metrics: pipeline size, average deal size, closing ratio, and sales cycle length
  • Aligning Sales, Customer Success, and Implementation to ensure seamless handoffs, successful client onboarding, and consistent commercial execution
  • Making data-driven recommendations to evolve the sales cycle based on the evolution of the product, market, and competitive landscape

How you'll work

You will be based in our Barcelona office, working in a hybrid model and reporting directly to the CCO. You will lead a high-performing Revenue Operations team and work closely with senior stakeholders both inside Kantox and within BNP Paribas. This is a role with real strategic weight and direct influence on how Kantox grows.
