The role

Role Purpose

You are part of the Global Commercial marketing team, acting as the expert who owns our marketing operations, automation, and inbound qualification processes end-to-end. You are the connection between marketing and the Rev Ops and commercial teams (Sales and Customer Success) - turning raw inbound interest into qualified, well-routed pipeline through smart segmentation, robust HubSpot automation, and increasingly, AI-powered workflows and structured detailed tracking and reporting.

This role has evolved into a highly technical, high-ownership position at the center of our revenue engine. It requires a true HubSpot power user who thinks in workflows and segments, is comfortable implementing AI tools to scale and improve marketing operations, and proactively owns projects from idea to measurable impact - rather than waiting to be told what to build next.

What You'll Own

HubSpot Automation, Workflows & AI Implementation - the core of this role

• Design, build, and continuously optimize HubSpot workflows, automations, and sequences that streamline lead nurturing, lead scoring, and SQL routing.

• Act as the organization's HubSpot champion and power user, expert-level fluency across Marketing Hub and CRM, capable of building complex, multi-branch automations independently.

• Identify and implement AI-powered capabilities (within HubSpot and complementary tools) to improve lead scoring, personalization, content workflows, and operational efficiency.

• Proactively audit existing automations, spot inefficiencies or breakages, and re-architect them as processes and volume scale.

Segmentation & Database Health

• Create and manage HubSpot lists and dynamic segments for targeted campaigns and lead qualification.

• Maintain the health of the contact database - segmentation, deduplication, and data hygiene - in coordination with the Operations team.

Reporting & Analytics

• Develop and maintain high-level reports and dashboards in HubSpot to measure lead performance, lifecycle progression, and campaign ROI.

• Present marketing campaign and pipeline performance regularly, translating data into clear, actionable recommendations to improve conversion.

• Provide the marketing team with up-to-date analytics and insights to fuel higher-converting campaigns.

Inbound Lead Qualification & Management

• Track, qualify, distribute, and manage incoming prospect and customer leads via HubSpot CRM.

• Manage calling lists and follow up daily with leads using an omnichannel approach (calls, email, and other channels) to qualify and progress them.

• Own the end-to-end inbound qualification experience - from first touch through hand-off and follow-up to deal close.

Cross-Functional Partnership & Sales Enablement

• Act as the conduit between Rev Ops, Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing - championing inbound processes to drive pipeline and boost conversion.

• Follow up daily with key stakeholders to track and monitor inbound lead and campaign performance.

• Equip commercial teams with the information and context they need to deliver a high-quality experience with inbound leads.

Project Ownership & Proactivity

• Take full ownership of marketing operations projects end-to-end - from scoping through execution to reporting on impact - with minimal need for oversight.

• Proactively bring forward ideas, tests, and improvements rather than waiting for direction; treat marketing operations as a continuously optimized system.

What We're Looking For

Must-have

• Proven, hands-on expert-level experience with HubSpot (Marketing Hub and CRM) - able to independently build complex workflows, automations, sequences, lists, and dynamic segments.

• Demonstrated experience implementing or leveraging AI tools within marketing operations (e.g., AI-assisted scoring, personalization, content or workflow automation).

• Strong analytical skills, with experience building reports and dashboards that connect marketing activity to pipeline and revenue outcomes.

• A track record of owning projects proactively and driving them to completion with limited supervision.

• Experience managing inbound lead qualification, including omnichannel outreach (phone and email).

• Excellent cross-functional communication skills, comfortable acting as a bridge between marketing, sales, and customer success.

• Meticulous, detail-oriented approach to data quality and database hygiene.

• HubSpot certifications (e.g., Marketing Hub Software, Revenue Operations, Reporting).

Nice-to-have

• Experience with complementary tools (e.g., Zapier/Make, Slack integrations, BI/reporting tools).

• Prior experience in a SaaS or subscription-based business.

Why This Role Matters

This position sits at the heart of how inbound demand becomes revenue. The person in this seat doesn't just execute - they design the systems, automations, and reporting that the entire commercial organization relies on, and they're trusted to identify opportunities and act on them proactively.
