Senior Cloud Engineer

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Cloud Engineering, Cloud Operations, DevOps, or similar positions.
• C1 English is mandatory, as you will regularly work in an international environment.
• Solid experience with AWS, especially:
• RDS
• EKS
• ElastiCache
• Experience with Kubernetes, Kubectl, and Helm.
• Experience with CI/CD tools, especially GitHub and Jenkins.
• Solid knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) best practices.
• Experience in scripting and automation with Python, Bash, and/or Node.js.
• Knowledge of Cloud Security and application of security controls.
• Experience in Incident Management, troubleshooting, and incident resolution.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Good communication skills and experience working in international teams.
• Availability to participate in on-call shifts to provide support to clients located in different time zones.

• AWS certifications, such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect.
• Other Cloud certifications.
• Experience with Dynatrace.
• Experience with ServiceNow.
• Knowledge of Apigee.
• Knowledge of Akamai.

We are looking for a Senior Cloud Engineer with at least 5 years of experience in AWS, DevOps, and Cloud operations to join an international technology service within the insurance sector.

You will be part of a global environment with operations distributed between Spain and Thailand, working with clients located in different time zones, mainly Asia and Central Europe.

The technological environment includes AWS, Kubernetes, Kubectl, Helm, GitHub, Jenkins, Dynatrace, and ServiceNow, with a strong component of automation, CI/CD, monitoring, and incident management.

• Design and develop Cloud solutions on AWS, ensuring scalability, security, and compliance.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in the definition of DevOps strategies and best practices.
• Work with CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) processes.
• Manage deployments on Kubernetes using Kubectl and Helm.
• Monitor and optimize the performance of Cloud infrastructures and services.
• Identify, analyze, and resolve incidents related to infrastructure, services, and applications.
• Automate processes using Python, Bash, or Node.js.
• Apply Cloud security best practices and controls.
• Participate in incident management and resolution.
• Communicate project progress and status to technical teams, stakeholders, and management.
• Propose improvements related to performance, costs, security, and technological innovation.
