Requirements

What we're looking for

  • Fluent in English and Dutch.
  • A Bachelor's degree in communication, business management, or equivalent, or 1-2 years of experience in an outbound sales position. Hunger and skill matter more than industry tenure.
  • High energy, a real passion for people, and professional communication skills, written and verbal. You build relationships fast.
  • Highly organised, with strong attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple activities without dropping the ball.
  • Self-directed and coachable, as good on your own as you are in a team. You seek feedback on your calls and your outreach, and act on it in the next conversation, not the next quarter.
  • You treat AI tools as a core part of your workflow, not a novelty. You adopt new tooling quickly and bend it to your style.
  • You want a career in sales, and you want to win. You pick up the phone when it would be easier not to. You follow up one more time. You're not okay with a bad quarter.

The role

Our Mission: Why Lighthouse?

At Lighthouse, we're on a mission to revolutionize commercial strategy as hospitality's most powerful AI platform. We take the world's largest hotel data network and transform it into real-time intelligence that drives action. We don't just deliver insights; we empower businesses to make decisions that move revenue.

With $370M in Series C funding and over $100M in ARR, we are scaling at lightspeed. Our 850+ teammates across 35 countries aren't just building software-they are leveraging cutting-edge AI to help hoteliers be the first to act. Tens of thousands of hotels across 185 countries trust Lighthouse to execute their commercial strategy, including every one of the top 15 global chains and thousands of independent hotels that consistently outperform their markets. With Lighthouse AI, the intelligence gets deeper. Decisions get smarter. Actions get faster. We help hoteliers be first to act.

What you'll do

You'll be the first impression of Lighthouse for hotels in the Dutch-speaking market. You'll open the door: start the conversations, build pipeline, and get prospects excited to meet our Business Development Managers, who take it from there. This is a hunter role and you're accountable to outcomes and success. No excuses, just results.

Reporting to the SDR Team Leader, you'll drive growth by spreading awareness of our products across the industry, qualifying leads, and building the pipeline that powers our sales team. You'll also have the chance to help us refine and expand our Sales Development function as we grow.

What makes this different: you won't do it alone. Lighthouse is deploying an agent AI infrastructure - Enablement, Pre-Sales, and Coaching agents - alongside a modern revenue stack. AI handles the research, the sequencing, and the pattern recognition so you can focus on what matters - starting conversations, running sharp discovery, and getting prospects excited to meet our BDMs.

  • Hunt and build pipeline. Pipeline doesn't build itself. Research your contacts, find the angle in news, industry trends and company updates, and turn it into calls, LinkedIn messages and highly personalised emails in Dutch and English. High volume, highest quality: you don't get to pick one. Proactively seek new business opportunities for Lighthouse.
  • Qualify and hand off like it's your deal. Engage inbound leads fast and turn them into product demos. Identify the needs of prospective clients, qualify both inbound and outbound leads, and get prospects genuinely excited to meet our Business Development Managers. A weak handoff wastes a good conversation, so make yours count.
  • Use AI as a force multiplier. AI isn't a side project here, it's how we work. The Enablement Agent handles research and prep, the Coaching Agent shows you what's working in your activity and conversion, and AI-driven insights across CRM, conversation intelligence and commercial data help you raise pipeline quality. You bring the conversations. Push back when the tools are wrong and help make the system smarter.
  • Team up with Marketing and the Revenue team. Work closely with Marketing to generate leads and follow up after trade shows, webinars, events and campaigns. Partner with Regional Sales Managers and Business Development Managers to optimise our sales process and win rate. You're the closest to the market, so share what you hear.
  • Own your results. The outreach, the meetings, the pipeline: they're yours. Take full accountability for what you generate, and never trade quality for volume.
  • Keep your pipeline clean. Manage your activity and lead data in HubSpot and Salesforce so the whole team can trust what they see.
