Operator - 24x7 Systems Technician

At Logicalis Spain we are looking for an Operator - 24x7 Systems Technician to expand our team.

• Execution of Preventative Maintenance: Reviewing VMWare status, Reviewing backup status, Reviewing AD status, Reviewing Azure status, Reviewing M365 status, Reviewing SQL-Server DB status, Reviewing network switches status. The idea is always to perform the preventative maintenance and resolve any possible incidents that arise from them.

• Incident Resolution under established procedures: Disk filling, CPU problems, memory, Down processes, Down servers,... Generally, these incidents are generated through monitoring tools.

• Request Resolution under established procedures: Creation of Virtual Machines from scratch, User Additions/Deletions/Modifications at the AD level, Reviewing paths at the Storage level, etc...

• Periodic tasks such as: Patching Windows/Linux servers through tools such as WSUS, SCCM, Bigfix, Generating AWS reports, rotating backup tapes....

Experience is required in any of the following technologies:

Windows, Linux, Control-M, VMWare, Networking (Switches), Backup Platforms such as Netbackup, Commvault, SQL-Server DB.

• Servers: Windows Server 20XX, Linux

• Virtualization: Fundamentally VMWare, also Hyper-V

• Networking: Switches

• Databases: Fundamentally SQL-Server.

• Backup Platforms: Veeam Backup, Commvault, Netbackup...

• Cloud: AWS, Azure, M365
