The Lead IT Operating Model (ITOM) Architect will drive the end-to-end design and operationalization of a global, platform-centric IT Target Operating Model.

This role is responsible for bridging executive digital strategy with ground-level organizational structures, establishing governance frameworks, defining global vs. regional decision rights, and aligning platform delivery models across enterprise domains (e.g., ERP, Integration, Cloud/Infrastructure, Data & AI).

Proven experience in Operating model transformation projects is needed to detail.

What you'll do

  • Target Operating Model Design: Define and refine the global IT Target Operating Model blueprint, shifting from traditional siloed/regional IT functions to a modern platform-centric and product-driven model.

  • Executive & Stakeholder Alignment: Lead alignment sessions with C-suite stakeholders (CDIO, CIO, CFO, Business Leads) to secure buy-in on ITOM design principles, North Star vision, and trade-offs.

  • Governance & Decision Rights: Establish global IT governance charters, decision rights (RACI), steering committee mechanisms, and business relationship management (BRM) interfaces.

  • Platform Architecture & Mapping: Group applications and technology capabilities into Business and Tech Platforms (e.g., SAP/ERP, ServiceNow, Data/AI, Digital Portals).

  • Change & Capability Strategy: Assess org readiness, identify skill/role gaps, and define transition paths for key leadership and platform roles.

Required Qualifications & Experience

● Experience: 12+ years in technology consulting or enterprise corporate IT leadership roles, with at least 5 years leading global ITOM, IT transformation, or IT M&A/carve-out initiatives.

● Operating Model Expertise: Proven track record implementing platform-centric, product-led, or matrixed global IT operating models in multi-national industrial or complex corporate environments.

● Methodologies: Deep understanding of CMMI capability models, Enterprise Architecture frameworks (TOGAF), ITIL, and Agile governance at scale.

● Soft Skills: Strategic gravitas, executive presence, and strong stakeholder management across global, regional, and country business units.

● Education & Certifications: Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related technical discipline.

●English (Fluent C1/C2 mandatory for all deliverables)
