Technical Filtration and Maintenance Manager

• At least 4 years of experience in responsibility positions or coordination of technical teams, especially in areas of maintenance, filtration, water treatment, hydraulic installations or similar.

• Knowledge of SCADA control and monitoring systems and maintenance management tools.

• Ability to lead teams, organize work and make decisions when incidents occur.

• Proactive, responsible, resourceful person with organizational skills.

• Availability to intervene and respond to incidents inherent to the operation of the facility.

• Experience in aquariums, swimming pools, water treatment plants, industrial installations or hydraulic infrastructures will be valued.

• Technical training related to maintenance, facilities, electricity, mechanics, civil engineering, industry or similar. Training in Engineering, Technical Architecture, Vocational Training or similar will be valued.

Would you like to manage the filtration and maintenance team of our large aquarium? At Poema del Mar, we are looking to hire a Filtration and Maintenance Technical Manager for our facilities in Gran Canaria.

We are looking for a person with experience in managing technical teams, facility maintenance and/or water filtration and treatment systems, who wants to take responsibility for the correct functioning of our facilities.

• Supervise and optimize the operation of the water filtration and treatment systems.

• Coordinate and supervise the filtration and maintenance technical team.

• Monitor and control the facilities using SCADA systems, tracking parameters and possible incidents.

• Plan and supervise the preventive and corrective maintenance of pumps, filters, disinfection systems and other equipment and facilities.

• Supervise and control UV, ozone, redox, pH, temperature equipment and systems, among others.

• Coordinate the general maintenance of the aquarium facilities.

• Detect needs for improvement and propose technical solutions that allow for the optimization of facility operation and resource consumption.

• Manage and follow up on work carried out by suppliers and external companies when necessary.

• Participate in the planning and organization of maintenance work.

• Resolve and follow up on technical incidents.

• Perform any other function related to the position and necessary for the correct functioning of the facilities.
