What we're looking for

We are looking for a person with a university degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or similar, and at least 5 years of experience in positions related to management control, finance, operations, or business management.

It will be necessary to have experience working closely with area managers or middle management, monitoring objectives, results, and action plans, as well as having solid economic-financial and accounting knowledge. Experience in cost analysis, deviations, KPIs, dashboards, and budgetary control is required, in addition to an advanced level of Excel.

Nice to have

We will especially value experience working directly with General Management and in positions with a transversal vision over different areas of the organization, as well as experience in team management and leadership. It will also be valuable to have participated in process improvement, efficiency, or organizational transformation projects, as well as the use of Business Intelligence tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar.

Likewise, experience in multi-site organizations, service companies, or complex structures will be valued, as well as having a master's degree or postgraduate degree in Finance, Management Control, MBA, or similar.

The role

At Macrosad, we are looking to hire a Business Controller who will work hand in hand with General Management, providing a global, rigorous, and business-oriented vision of the company's economic and organizational evolution.

This is a transversal position of high responsibility, which will supervise different key areas of the organization through their respective managers, ensuring the monitoring of objectives, economic control, and the execution of improvement plans.

We are not merely looking for someone to prepare reports or dashboards, but for an analytical and proactive profile, with business vision and their own judgment, capable of interpreting information, understanding what lies behind the data, identifying the source of inefficiencies, and questioning constructively to propose solutions with real impact. We especially value initiative, results orientation, and a solid capacity for leadership and team management, to drive improvements and guarantee the achievement of objectives.

What you'll do

Supervise the economic and operational management of different areas through their managers, acting as an interlocutor with General Management.
Design, implement, and evolve KPIs, dashboards, and objective monitoring systems.
Analyze results, costs, profitability, productivity, and deviations, identifying their causes.
Guarantee the quality, coherence, and reliability of economic and management information.
Analyze processes and detect risks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
Define concrete action plans and monitor their implementation.
Prepare analyses and proposals to facilitate decision-making for General Management.
Drive and coordinate transversal improvement and efficiency projects.
Manage and coordinate the teams under their charge, ensuring the achievement of objectives, productivity, and operational efficiency.
