About the role

Your new role

We are looking for a senior Lead Product Designer to join the Experience Design team. In this role, you will combine strong hands-on capabilities with a functional leadership role in the design of Mango's internal digital products.

Your mission will be to design and functionally lead strategic initiatives with cross-cutting impact across the company, connecting products, teams, and business needs to ensure a coherent, consistent, and high-quality experience across the entire internal ecosystem.

This role does not involve people management. Your leadership will be exercised through influence, judgment, and the ability to connect initiatives, reporting to the area manager.

What you'll do

In your day-to-day, you will be responsible for...

  • Designing end-to-end solutions for strategic initiatives, from discovery to validation, handoff, and iteration.

  • Translating complex business and operational problems into useful, clear, viable, and scalable solutions.

  • Designing experiences for highly complex internal products, aimed at diverse profiles across the entire value chain: stores, franchises, product, logistics, and technology.

  • Exploring and incorporating new ways of working supported by artificial intelligence to accelerate and improve design work.

  • Maintaining a cross-cutting view of the ecosystem of internal platforms and touchpoints, identifying synergies, inconsistencies, and opportunities for alignment.

  • Sharing context and reviewing solutions with the design team to foster consistency across products and initiatives.

  • Acting as a functional reference, raising the quality of solutions and promoting a systemic view of design.

  • Facilitating ideation, alignment, and co-creation sessions with multidisciplinary teams.

  • Planning and executing research and product discovery activities, such as interviews, workshops, hypothesis validation, usability testing, and insight synthesis.

  • Defining information architectures, user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and interaction proposals.

  • Defending design decisions based on research, data, usability criteria, and product vision.

  • Driving the evolution, prioritization, and adoption of the design system, identifying common patterns and opportunities for improvement.

  • Ensuring the quality of each solution through to its final implementation, collaborating closely with development.

What we're looking for

About you

  • You have solid experience as a senior-level Product Designer in UX/UI.

  • You have designed end-to-end digital products, from identifying opportunities to delivering and evolving the solution.

  • You have mastered Figma and FigJam.

  • You regularly use artificial intelligence tools such as Claude, Cursor, Lovable, or v0, among others.

  • You bring leadership, influencing, guiding, and raising the level of the team through judgment and collaboration.

  • You have a strong sense of responsibility for the quality, consistency, and follow-through of initiatives, pushing things forward.

  • You regularly use artificial intelligence tools to research, ideate, prototype, synthesize, and accelerate your work.

  • You have experience in complex environments, ideally in internal products, operational tools, B2B contexts, or ecosystems with multiple platforms and user profiles.

  • You combine hands-on execution with a cross-cutting and systemic view of design.

  • You have strong UX and UI judgment, with the ability to simplify complex problems and turn them into intuitive, efficient, and scalable experiences.

  • You have experience in product discovery and user research methodologies.

  • You can comfortably participate in technical conversations and make realistic design decisions.

  • You have contributed to design systems or ensured their proper adoption across different products.

  • You communicate clearly to align teams, explain design decisions, and adapt your message to different audiences.

  • You stand out for your empathy, understanding users, teams, and the context of each initiative.

  • Experience working with Jira and Confluence.

What you'll get

  • Enjoy a flexible schedule and hybrid work that adapts to your needs. At Mango, we are committed to balancing professional and personal life.

  • At Mango, the weekend starts on Friday. We offer intensive working hours on Fridays and the days before public holidays.

  • Plan your vacation according to your preferences. At Mango, we value your time and want you to enjoy every moment.

  • As part of the Mango team, you will get a discount on all our lines, so you can always stay up to date!

  • Flexible compensation package with tax advantages: health insurance, training, catering, and a childcare program.

  • Free company transportation from Barcelona and El Vallés.

  • At Mango, we invest in your personal and professional growth. Access a wide range of training, personalized mentoring, continuous development programs, and internal promotion opportunities that will drive you toward success. On a technical level, you will be able to train in the use of different technology platforms, as well as participate in workshops, meetups, communities of practice, team buildings, and company meetings.

  • Think big! Mango offers you international opportunities in over 120 markets to expand your horizons and grow with us on a global level.

  • Referral policy: you will be able to participate in bringing talent into our teams, and we will reward you for it!
