Head of Accounting

At Marlex, we are collaborating with a leading company in the food and distribution sector, which is currently looking to hire a Head of Accounting to lead the administrative and financial area, ensuring the proper functioning of the company's accounting and treasury processes.

What will your mission at the company be?

Ensure proper administrative, accounting, and financial management of the company, overseeing the reliability of financial information and ensuring compliance with tax and accounting obligations.

Your main duties will be:

• Management and control of treasury: bank reconciliations, monitoring of transactions, cash flow forecasting, and follow-up on overdue receivables.

• Control and maintenance of the master file for suppliers and creditors.

• Validation, accounting, and monitoring of purchase and service invoices.

• Preparation of general and analytical accounting, as well as monthly and annual closings.

• Preparation and submission of taxes and tax returns (VAT, Personal Income Tax, Intrastat, etc.).

• Support to unit managers in the preparation and monitoring of budgets.

• Control and monitoring of fixed assets, depreciations, and inventory.

• Coordination with external auditors and official bodies.

• Participation in the implementation and improvement of the corporate ERP.

You are the ideal candidate if...

• Education: Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, or similar.

• Experience: Minimum 3 years in a similar position, with experience in the food or distribution sector valued.

• Skills:

○ Solid knowledge of financial and analytical accounting.

○ Experience in taxation and tax management.

○ Proficiency in office software and experience with ERP systems (JD Edwards, Open ERP, or similar) valued.

• Languages: Catalan and Spanish.

• Organized, resourceful, analytical person with a results-oriented mindset and teamwork skills.

Des de Marlex estem col·laborant amb una empresa referent del sector alimentació i distribució, que actualment busca incorporar un/a Cap de Comptabilitat per liderar l'àrea administrativa i financera, assegurant el correcte funcionament dels processos comptables i de tresoreria de la companyia.

Quina serà la teva missió a l'empresa?

Garantir la correcta gestió administrativa, comptable i financera de l'empresa, vetllant per la fiabilitat de la informació econòmica i assegurant el compliment de les obligacions fiscals i comptables.

Les teves funcions principals seran:

• Gestió i control de la tresoreria: conciliacions bancàries, control de moviments, previsió de tresoreria i seguiment de morositat.

• Control i manteniment del fitxer mestre de proveïdors i creditors.

• Validació, comptabilització i seguiment de factures de compres i serveis.

• Realització de la comptabilitat general i analítica, així com dels tancaments mensuals i anuals.

• Elaboració i presentació d'impostos i declaracions fiscals (IVA, IRPF, Intrastat, etc.).

• Suport als responsables d'unitat en la confecció i seguiment dels pressupostos.

• Control i seguiment d'actius fixes, amortitzacions i existències.

• Coordinació amb auditors externs i organismes oficials.

• Participació en la implantació i millora de l'ERP corporatiu.

Ets el candidat/a ideal si...

• Formació: Grau en ADE, Econòmiques, Comptabilitat o similar.

• Experiència: Mínim 3 anys en una posició similar, valorable en empreses del sector alimentació o distribució.

• Coneixements:

○ Coneixements sòlids de comptabilitat financera i analítica.

○ Experiència en fiscalitat i gestió d'impostos.

○ Domini d'eines ofimàtiques i valorable experiència amb ERP (JD Edwards, OpenERP o similars).

• Idiomes: Català i castellà.

• Persona organitzada, resolutiva, analítica i amb orientació a resultats i treball en equip.
