Logistics Manager

What do we need from you?

• Education: Degree or Qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in warehouse management and distribution logistics, ideally in the food, consumer goods, or distribution sector.
• Key knowledge:
• Solid knowledge in warehouse management, last-mile transport, and coordination with 3PL logistics operators.
• Proficiency in the SAP operating system (logistics and warehouse modules) and an advanced level of Excel (Power BI and WMS will be valued).
• Valuable experience in food safety regulations (IFS / ISO 9001), international trade, and customs.
• Key competencies: Proactive profile, oriented towards data and continuous improvement, leadership and communication skills, organized vision, rigor in traceability, and availability for early starts and travel according to expansion projects. Driver's license and residence in Madrid.

At Paul Marlex, we are looking for a Logistics Manager to join us immediately in a face-to-face capacity in Madrid. The position will focus on integral warehouse management, transport optimization (in-house and outsourced), coordination with logistics operators (3PL), and the implementation of management indicators and cost control.

What will your mission be in the company?

• Warehouse and team management: Lead and organize an operational team of 6-7 people (shift supervisors and warehouse workers), manage temporary staff (temp agencies) during peak demand, and optimize locations, rotation, and warehouse maintenance.
• Route preparation and invoicing: Supervise the daily preparation and invoicing of delivery routes in Madrid (early start ~5:30-6:00 h) and control the receipt of goods, returns, and credit notes.
• Transport and 3PL management: Administer the own fleet of vans and outsourced transport (national and international), establishing SLA agreements, incident control, and fluid coordination with the external logistics operator.
• Indicators and management control: Build and maintain the logistics dashboard (service level, logistics cost, productivity, rotation) and manage the area budget (OPEX) in coordination with Management.
• Quality and traceability: Guarantee batch traceability (cold chain and FEFO) and provide support for compliance with quality regulations and certifications (IFS / ISO 9001).
