Requirements

What we're looking for

You are the ideal candidate if...

You have vocational training in Electromechanics, Industrial Maintenance, Automotive, or a similar specialty.
You bring between 3 and 5 years of experience in the maintenance and repair of construction machinery, heavy machinery, or similar equipment.
You have solid knowledge of mechanics and hydraulics, as well as the ability to diagnose electronic faults.
You are used to performing technical interventions on machinery and resolving incidents autonomously.
You feel comfortable working in the field and traveling to customer facilities or worksites.
You have a B driving license. Having a C license will be valued.
You are a resourceful, organized, autonomous, and customer-oriented person.

The role

At Marlex, we are collaborating with an important company specialized in offering solutions and equipment for the construction, public works, and industrial sectors, in the recruitment of a Construction Machinery Mechanic to launch a new technical service project in Spain.

If you have experience repairing and maintaining construction machinery and are looking for a new professional challenge, we are looking for you!

What you'll do

Reporting to the project manager, your main responsibilities will be:

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of construction machinery, such as excavators, backhoes, wheel loaders, and other worksite equipment.
Diagnose and resolve mechanical, hydraulic, and electronic faults in the machinery.
Travel to customer facilities or worksites to carry out technical interventions.
Carry out periodic inspections and repairs, guaranteeing the correct functioning of the equipment.
Manage assigned interventions autonomously, organizing travel and the necessary resources.
Use a mobile technical service unit to perform repairs directly at the customer's facilities.
Collaborate occasionally with other technicians when the intervention requires it.
Perform, occasionally, tasks involving the delivery, collection, or transfer of machinery.
