Requirements

What we're looking for

Higher Level Vocational Training (FP) in Industrial Automation and Robotics, Electronics, Electricity, or Electromechanical Maintenance, or similar.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in industrial plant maintenance, with PLC programming (Siemens TIA Portal / Step 7 at a minimum; Omron, Allen Bradley, and ABB are valued).
Knowledge of robotics, drives, and servos.
Ability to read electrical diagrams and interpret technical manuals.
Availability to work rotating shifts.
Own vehicle.

Nice to have

Basic knowledge of pneumatics and mechanics is valued.

The role

Electronic Industrial Maintenance Technician | Vitoria-Gasteiz

At Marlex, we are selecting an Industrial Maintenance Technician with an electronic profile for a consolidated industrial company in Vitoria-Gasteiz. This is a position for a technical profile wanting to combine daily plant maintenance with PLC and robot programming and automation projects.

What you'll do

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of production lines, ensuring their correct operation and minimizing downtime.
Diagnose and resolve electrical and electronic faults in panels, motors, machines, valves, probes, and boards.
Program, maintain, and review systems controlled by Omron, Siemens, Allen Bradley, and ABB PLCs.
Program and parameterize ABB and KUKA robots, servos, frequency drives, and operator terminals.
Configure and adjust product inspection, weighing, and marking equipment.
Repair and fine-tune industrial computing equipment (SCADA).
Develop automations in new installations and update obsolete PLCs.
Record interventions and collaborate with the rest of the maintenance team in improving the facilities.
Be part of the plant's emergency response team.
