The role

At Marlex, we are collaborating with a company specialized in the industrial-railway sector, which is currently looking for Railway Maintenance Technicians to join an important project at the Metro de Madrid facilities.

What you'll do

Participate in the installation and adaptation of communication systems (walkies) and flashlights in the driving cabs.
Perform assembly and disassembly work of mechanical components, as well as the installation and adaptation of equipment in the units.
Execute wiring, interconnection, crimping, and electrical connection tasks, following technical plans and diagrams.
Carry out functional tests and mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical verifications to guarantee the correct operation of the units.
Detect and resolve incidents or breakdowns arising during the work, preparing the corresponding intervention reports.
Participate in coupling operations and in accompanying during the dynamic testing of the trains.
Following the corresponding training and authorization, collaborate in the driving and maneuvering of units on secondary tracks.

You are the ideal candidate if...

You have Vocational Training (FP II) or Higher Degree in Electricity, Electronics, or related technical specialties.
You bring at least 2 years of experience in industrial, electromechanical, or maintenance environments.
You have experience in electromechanical assembly and troubleshooting.
Previous experience in the railway sector will be especially valued.
Possession of the Fluorinated Gases Handling Certificate will be positively valued.
You are a committed, resolute person, with initiative and an orientation toward quality.
