Requirements

What we're looking for

You are the ideal candidate if...

You have a Higher Degree in Industrial Automation and Robotics, Industrial Mechatronics, Electronic Maintenance, or similar technical training.
You bring around three years of experience in electromechanical maintenance of industrial machinery, preferably in automated lines.
You have knowledge of PLC programming and experience using them to diagnose faults and perform adjustments or modifications.
You know how to interpret electrical diagrams and have experience intervening directly on electrical and mechanical components.
You reside in Madrid or the surrounding areas and have a driver's license.
You have availability to travel regularly and stay overnight away from home when interventions require it.

Nice to have

We will value if you have worked with packaging machinery or in a technical assistance service.

At Marlex, we are collaborating with a company specialized in the design and manufacture of automated packaging lines, based in the outskirts of Girona, which is currently looking to hire an Electromechanical Field Service Technician to reinforce its technical assistance service.

What you'll do

Reporting to the department manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the correct operation of the machinery installed at customer facilities. Your main functions will be:

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of machinery and automated packaging lines.
Diagnose and resolve electrical, mechanical, and automation failures.
Use PLC programming software to consult signals, analyze sequences, and identify the origin of incidents.
Perform adjustments and modifications in the PLC programming when necessary to resolve faults or improve equipment performance.
Repair, replace, and adjust components, checking the correct operation of the machinery after each intervention.
Attend to the technical needs of customers and document the actions performed.
Travel to customer facilities to perform maintenance and technical assistance interventions.
