What we're looking for

Required

Currently in your final year, or recently graduated, in Law, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
English level that allows you to work in an international team.
Ability to sign an internship agreement with your university or school.

Nice to have

Interest in international taxation or VAT.
Basic knowledge of Excel.
Any additional language is welcome.

The role

You'll join Marosa by Wolters Kluwer's VAT Compliance team to learn how VAT compliance works across different European countries, always under the supervision of a mentor. You'll work with real cases, industry-specific tools, and a multinational team. It's an opportunity to take your first steps in indirect tax, with training and continuous feedback from day one. The internship can be full-time or part-time (mornings), depending on your availability.

What you'll do

Learn how to prepare VAT returns for different countries, under the supervision of a senior consultant.
Get to know how a multinational VAT compliance team operates across Europe.
Become familiar with VAT preparation software and the applicable accounting principles.
Take part in team projects and tasks for learning purposes.
Shadow the team's day-to-day work to understand VAT compliance processes and tools.
Receive ongoing training and feedback from the senior consultant and your internship mentor.
