What we're looking for

University education preferably in Engineering such as: Computer Science, Telecommunications, or similar, or a Higher Degree Vocational Training.
Minimum required experience of 8 years in the required technologies and knowledge.
Demonstrable experience as a software architect in Java environments.
Extensive experience in development with Java and Spring Boot.
Experience in the design and development of REST APIs.
English level that allows for understanding technical documentation and responding to requests.

The role

Currently, in the IT Department, we are looking for a Java Software Architect at our Cornellà de Llobregat (Barcelona) headquarters.

What you'll do

Design and evolve the architecture of Java-based applications.
Establish design standards and principles to guide development teams.
Design and develop reusable common libraries and components.
Validate and guarantee compliance with the established architecture across different projects.
Participate in the definition of technical solutions and in the selection of frameworks, tools, and technologies.
Design and implement continuous integration / continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
Drive software quality practices, automation, and continuous improvement.
