Room Attendant - ME Sitges Terramar

Position Mission

Perform daily cleaning and tidying of rooms, as well as reporting any defects to their immediate supervisor.

What will you have to do?

• Carry out all instructions and tasks assigned by their immediate supervisor, as well as all responsibilities required by their position.
• Perform cleaning and preparation of rooms, as well as common areas, ensuring the good condition of facilities and furniture, using the necessary cleaning products, tools, and supplies.
• Check daily the proper functioning of all facilities, electrical appliances in the room, and equipment in general.
• Change linens according to established procedures.
• Stock and replenish rooms with the necessary amenities and supplies. They are also responsible for removing trash.
• Report any anomalies, defects, or breakdowns detected, providing a description so they can be repaired following established procedures.
• Organize and maintain the housekeeping office and cart in perfect order, cleanliness, and condition, managing the inventory level of supplies, linens, and materials according to established procedures.
• Deliver items forgotten by guests to the Housekeeping Manager at the end of the shift.
• Review and verify the room status, certifying that there is no discrepancy with the system.
• Inspect assigned vacant rooms in preparation for guest arrival.
• Comply with the specific regulations of the department and those related to occupational risk prevention specific to the cleaning area.

What are we looking for?

• 1 or 2 years of experience working in a similar position in the hospitality or cleaning sector.
• Knowledge of hotel operations.
• Knowledge of hygiene standards and regulations.
• Knowledge of cleaning equipment and products.
• Knowledge of room management.
• Service vocation.
• Proactivity.

Misión del puesto

Realizar la limpieza y orden diario de las habitaciones, así como de reportar algún desperfecto de estas a su superior inmediato.

¿Qué tendrás que hacer?

• Ejecutar todas las instrucciones y trabajos que le sean asignados por su superior inmediato, así como las responsabilidades que su cargo requiera.
• Realizar la limpieza y la puesta a punto de las habitaciones, así como de las áreas comunes, cuidando el buen estado de las instalaciones y mobiliario, empleando los productos, instrumentos y materiales de limpieza necesarios.
• Revisar diariamente el funcionamiento de todas las instalaciones, aparatos eléctricos de la habitación y equipos en general.
• Cambiar la lencería de acuerdo con los procedimientos.
• Dotar y reponer las habitaciones con los amenities y los suministros que se precisen. Se encarga de eliminar la basura
• Comunicar las anomalías, desperfectos o averías detectadas, dando la descripción de estas para que sean reparadas siguiendo los procedimientos establecidos.
• Organizar y mantener en perfecto orden, estado y limpieza el office y carro, llevando el nivel de stock de enseres, ropas y materiales, de acuerdo con los procedimientos establecidos.
• Entregar los objetos olvidados por los clientes al Housekeeping Manager al finalizar el turno.
• Revisar y comprobar el estatus de la habitación certificando que no exista discrepancia con el sistema.
• Repasar las habitaciones vacías asignadas para la llegada.
• Cumplir la normativa específica del departamento y la relativa a la prevención de riesgos laborales específica para que área limpieza.

¿Qué buscamos?

• 1 o 2 años de experiencia trabajando en puesto similar en el sector hotelero o de limpieza.
• Conocimientos de operativa hotelera.
• Conocimientos de normativas y estándares de higiene.
• Conocimiento de equiòs y productos de limpieza.
• Conocimientos de gestión de habitaciones.
• Vocación de servicio.
• Proactividad.
