What you'll do

OPERATIONS 

  • Personalize each interaction with a guest by using their name during conversations. 

  • Be responsible for maintaining guest profiles to ensure an accurate source of information about each client's needs and preferences, in compliance with local regulations on mandatory data. 

  • Be aware of potential VIPs arriving at or visiting the different areas of the hotel. Ensure that they are received and accompanied to their destination.  

  • Efficiently handle all administrative tasks at the front desk, ensuring the accuracy of guest accounts and the correct billing/charging of guests' credit cards, following local regulations regarding payment limits. 

  • Handle all guest complaints in a professional, personal, and empathetic manner  

  • Ensure that all relevant information is communicated in a timely manner to the front desk management team. 

  • Seek ways to continuously improve personal knowledge and skills and be actively involved with leaders in creating best practices in the office. 

  • Support the rate strategy established by the Revenue team. Maximize hotel sales and revenue by promoting Upselling/Cross-selling  

  • Ensure that guests receive a quick and efficient check-in and check-out. If applicable, be knowledgeable about the digital check-in process and assist the guest accordingly.  

  • Handle telephone requests from internal and/or external customers, should the hotel not have a centralized Guest Service Line service.  

  • Become an ambassador of the hotel at all times when representing the company. 

  • Be responsible for maintaining guest profiles to ensure an accurate source of information about each client's needs and preferences. 

  • Ensure that all relevant information is promptly communicated to the front desk management team. 

  • Ability to work under supervision, be polite and helpful with both colleagues and guests, have good communication skills, and be enthusiastic and willing to learn. 

  • Ability to understand and exceed guest expectations and needs. 

  • Support, maintain, and enforce the hotel's service standards. 

  • Ensure that all guest inquiries or requests are handled in a polite and efficient manner, within an acceptable time frame. 

CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE 

  • Know the brand philosophy and comply with the standards, operational manuals and identity that apply to their department.  

  • Ensuring the customer experience and personalizing their visit, anticipating their needs and exceeding their expectations.  

  • Handle customer incidents, communicating the actions taken to their supervisor. Escalate the incident to their supervisor if they cannot provide a solution. 

  • Know the Voice of the Customer goals and carry out the necessary actions to achieve them.  

  • Support your supervisor with the Sensory Architecture established for your areas.  

  • Know and promote the hotel's services and facilities, as well as the entertainment program, experiences and events. 

HEALTH & SAFETY/ HEALTHY WORKPLACE 

  • Know the hotel's evacuation plan.  

  • Know the personal protective equipment and use it correctly. 

  • Know the methods, work procedures and risks inherent to their activity. 

  • Assume the responsibilities assigned to them in the Occupational Health and Safety Management System Manual.
