We are looking for an experienced Backend Engineer, with a minimum of 3 years of experience, to join our development team at Metrica España. The ideal candidate will possess deep knowledge in developing robust and scalable applications using Java and the Spring Boot framework. They will be responsible for the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of backend services, ensuring the quality, performance, and security of our solutions.

This role is fundamental to our team, as they will actively participate in the full software development lifecycle, from the conception of new features to their deployment in production. We are looking for someone who not only masters the technology but also collaborates effectively with other teams, such as frontend, QA, and operations, to deliver high-quality products.

Backend development of APIs and microservices. 

Profile very oriented towards implementation. 

• Design, develop, and maintain robust and efficient RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
• Implement asynchronous event processing solutions using Kafka.
• Collaborate in the design of the software architecture, making technical decisions that guarantee scalability and maintainability.
• Write clean, well-documented code with unit and integration tests.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure quality and share knowledge.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues in production and pre-production environments.
• Work in close collaboration with product, frontend, and QA teams to define requirements and deliver functionalities.
• Optimize the performance of applications and databases.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes and the tools used.
• Stay up to date on the latest trends and technologies in the Java ecosystem and backend development.
• Implement production services.  
• Maintain good code quality.
