Infrastructure Manager

To succeed in this role, we are looking for a professional with the following qualifications and experience:

• Experience: Minimum of 4 years of demonstrable experience in technological infrastructure management, preferably with a focus on systems environments, virtualization, and/or IT service management.
• Technical Knowledge: Solid knowledge in:
• Operating Systems: Windows Server and Linux distributions.
• Virtualization: Experience with virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V, etc.).
• Project and Service Management: Proven experience in management roles, ideally combining aspects of Project Management (PM) and Service Delivery Management (SDM).
• Methodologies: Knowledge and application of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall) and service methodologies (ITIL).
• Tools: Familiarity with monitoring, ticketing, and infrastructure management tools.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Learning Capacity: Eagerness and interest in continuous learning and adapting to new technologies and environments.

• Network and Storage Infrastructure (desirable).

• Languages: Knowledge of English will be valued.

As an Infrastructure Manager, you will be the key figure in the management and supervision of our systems and virtualization infrastructure. Your main responsibilities will include:

• Systems and Virtualization Governance: Leading and directing the systems and virtualization vertical, ensuring alignment with the client's strategic objectives.
• Project and Incident Management: Acting as a liaison between the Project Manager and Service Delivery Manager functions, managing both the planning and execution of infrastructure projects as well as incident resolution and performance optimization.
• Infrastructure Supervision: Possessing deep knowledge and actively supervising the technological infrastructure, including operating systems (Windows, Linux) and virtualization environments.
• Tools and Process Management: Implementing and optimizing tools and processes for the monitoring, management, and maintenance of the infrastructure, ensuring best practices and operational efficiency.
• Methodology and Continuous Improvement: Applying proven management methodologies and fostering a culture of continuous improvement across all areas of the infrastructure.
• Communication and Collaboration: Maintaining fluid and effective communication with technical teams, client stakeholders, and other departments, facilitating collaboration and problem-solving.
• Strategic Planning: Contributing to the medium and long-term planning of the infrastructure, anticipating future needs and proposing innovative solutions.
• Risk Management: Identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks associated with the technological infrastructure.
