Facilities and Projects Engineer

• At least 2–3 years of experience in facilities engineering, infrastructure projects, or systems integration.
• Technical training: Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications, Technical Architecture, Public Works, or related degrees.
• Minimum English level B2, with the ability to prepare technical documentation in English.
• Experience in the design of virtualized infrastructures.
• Knowledge of networks, Data Center / CPD, and network architecture, including SDN environments.
• Ability to investigate, diagnose, and resolve technical incidents at the infrastructure and protocol level.
• Advanced level of AutoCAD.
• Experience in electrical installations and/or design of electrical panels.
• Experience in the preparation of technical documentation: plans, specifications, test procedures, manuals, etc.
• Availability to undertake long-duration international travel.

• Experience in air traffic control, ATM, aeronautics, defense, or critical infrastructure projects.
• Knowledge or experience in control centers, CPDs, radio, communications, radio links, and radars.
• Experience in installation, commissioning, testing, and validation activities of systems.
• Proficiency in electrical calculation tools.
• Knowledge of enterprise virtualization and high-availability architectures.
• Experience in international environments and technical liaison with clients.

Métrica is looking for a Facilities and Projects Engineer with experience in technical infrastructures, electrical installations, virtualization, and networks to join a stable project in the ATM / air traffic management sector.

• Design of technical installations and infrastructures for air traffic management projects.
• Preparation of technical documentation in English: plans, specifications, test procedures, installation and operation manuals, among others.
• Design of electrical installations, electrical panels, and associated documentation.
• Preparation and updating of technical drawings using AutoCAD.
• Use of electrical calculation tools for the design and dimensioning of installations.
• Design and integration of virtualized infrastructures, networks, Data Center, and SDN environments.
• Participation in projects linked to CPDs, control centers, communications, radio links, and radars.
• Investigation, analysis, and resolution of technical incidents at the infrastructure, communications, and protocol level.
• Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams during the design, installation, testing, and commissioning phases.
• Undertaking international travel for installation, validation, and technical support activities on the project.

• Office location: San Fernando de Henares, Madrid.
• Modality: hybrid.
• Stable project in an international and high-criticality technological environment.
• Availability for international travel: approximately 5 months per year, in trips lasting between 1 and 3 weeks.
