We are looking for a Senior OT Control Systems Engineer (SOLAR PV) to expand one of our photovoltaic sector teams.

What you'll do

As a Senior OT Control Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining OT control and communications systems (SCADA, PPC...) for solar photovoltaic power plants (SOLAR PV) and battery energy storage systems (BESS). Your experience in Operational Technology (OT) environments and SCADA systems will be fundamental to ensuring the performance, reliability, and security of our facilities.

Control Systems Design and Implementation: Develop and configure control system architectures for solar plants and BESS, including the selection of hardware (PLCs, HMIs, industrial networks) and software (SCADA, Historians).
Programming and Configuration: Program and configure control devices (PLCs) and SCADA systems, ensuring correct integration and communication between the different components.
Supervision and Monitoring: Implement and manage supervision, control, and data acquisition systems (SCADA) to monitor plant performance, detect anomalies, and optimize energy production.
Industrial Network Management: Design, configure, and maintain secure and reliable industrial communication networks (Ethernet/IP, Modbus TCP, Profinet, etc.) within the OT environment.
Systems Integration: Ensure the correct integration of control and SCADA systems with other plant systems, including energy management systems and data analysis platforms.
Pre-Commissioning and Commissioning: Review system designs ensuring correct integration, coordinate the commissioning of communications and plant systems.
Corrective and evolutionary maintenance

How will I do it?

Working day adapted to US hours.

Participation mainly in US market projects.

Availability to travel according to project needs, including commissioning phases and on-site support.

Requirements

Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Automation, or similar.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in OT systems within the photovoltaic sector.

Experience in design, integration, or commissioning of plant control systems.

Experience with SCADA, PPC, PLC, and industrial protocols such as Modbus, IEC 61850, and OPC UA.

Knowledge of EMS systems and integration with control systems.

Knowledge of Grid Codes and connection of renewable plants to the grid.

High English level, minimum C1. English will be the habitual language.

Highly valued

Experience in hybrid Solar + BESS projects.

Experience in United States standards and regulations.

Knowledge of electrical modeling and simulation (MATLAB, Simulink, PSCAD, or similar).
