• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a System Administrator, with a specific focus on database administration.
• Demonstrable and deep experience in Couchbase Server, including its installation, configuration, administration, and troubleshooting.
• Solid knowledge in the management of clusters, buckets, scopes, collections, and indexes.
• Knowledge and experience in the configuration and management of XDCR.
• Experience in performing backups and disaster recovery plans.
• Ability to perform cluster scaling, rebalancing, and updates.
• Understanding of database security concepts.
• Ability to analyze and resolve complex performance and availability problems.

• Experience in other NoSQL or SQL database systems will be valued.
• Experience in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) will be valued.
• Certifications related to Couchbase will be valued.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

The selected person will be responsible for the administration, monitoring, and optimization of the Couchbase clusters that support critical applications, guaranteeing their availability, security, performance, and operational continuity.

• Exhaustive administration and maintenance of Couchbase Server environments in their different versions.
• Comprehensive management of clusters, including configuration, administration of nodes, buckets, scopes, collections and
• Implementation and management of backup strategies, restorations, and development of Disaster Recovery procedures.
• Configuration, administration, and detailed monitoring of replication between clusters via XDCR (Cross Datacenter Replication).
• Execution of critical operations such as cluster scaling, data rebalancing, and platform updates, minimizing the impact on operations.
• Deep analysis and efficient resolution of incidents related to performance, availability, and data replication.
• Application and verification of security controls on Couchbase clusters, ensuring data protection.
• Technical documentation of configurations, procedures, and incident resolutions.
• Participation in capacity planning and database architecture.
• Technical support and problem resolution in high availability and high criticality environments.
