Requirements

What we're looking for

Around 2 years of experience in the administration and operation of email security platforms.
Experience with Cisco IronPort / Cisco ESA / Cisco Secure Email.
Knowledge of antispam, antiphishing, antivirus/antimalware, and antispoofing protection.
Knowledge of SPF, DKIM, and DMARC.
Experience in the configuration of email policies, rules, and filters.
Experience in quarantine management, allowlists and blocklists, and analysis of suspicious URLs and attachments.
Higher Level Vocational Training degree.
Availability to work on-call shifts.

Nice to have

Experience in multitenant environments and the management of multiple entities or domains.
Experience in services with 24x7 coverage.
Knowledge of sandboxing and integration with sandbox and EDR solutions.
Knowledge of email encryption.
Experience in advanced threat analysis via email.

The role

At Métrica, we are looking for an Email Security Technician with experience in the administration of Email Security platforms and Cisco IronPort, to join a cybersecurity project.

How you'll work

Modality: 100% remote.
Salary: 25-28K, depending on experience and fit.
On-call duties approximately once a month.
Equipment provided for security.

Duties

Administration and operation of the email protection platform.
Configuration of policies, rules, exceptions, and filters by entity or domain.
Management of antispam, antiphishing, antimalware, sandboxing, and antispoofing functionalities.
Administration of quarantines, allowlists and blocklists, and notifications.
Management of SPF, DKIM, DMARC, and email encryption.
Analysis of URLs, attachments, and threats received via email.
Monitoring of the platform and incident resolution to contribute to 24x7 service continuity.
