What we're looking for
Are you a professional from the hotel world and consider yourself a handyman, or are you a person with maintenance knowledge who loves hotels? If so, this position is perfect for you! Personality and hosting skills are our priority! You will also need to meet the following requirements:
- To have technical training and/or have professional experience in one or more positions related to building maintenance or be looking for a career change
- To be an open and communicative person, pay attention to detail, and have an interest in technology
- To be a flexible and creative person, and have an excellent sense of quality, even in stressful situations
- To be a person who likes working in a team and is willing to provide assistance in all departments: at Motel One, the goals are collective, so we all help each other!

The role
Repairs, painting, fire protection, occupational safety... As the all-rounder technician of our hotel, you will ensure that everything works correctly. Therefore, you will be responsible for:
- Conducting a daily walkthrough of the facilities to detect any defects in the hotel and performing the corresponding repair and renovation work
- Monitoring the correct functioning of the equipment, elevators, and technical facilities of the hotel
- Ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of all outdoor areas
- Acting as a communication and cooperation link with external companies, especially monitoring any maintenance work
- Acquiring interdepartmental knowledge about new areas of activity through working in our multicultural teams
