Civil Engineer - Road Works Supervision

• Technical training in Civil Engineering, Public Works Engineering (ITOP), or Technical Architecture: Your academic background will provide you with the necessary foundations to engage appropriately with all parties involved in the works.

• A career of approximately 10 years in the sector, with solid experience focused on the management or execution of road projects. This background will allow you to anticipate the usual unforeseen circumstances of the terrain and make quick decisions under pressure.

• Fluent command of Autocad, Presto, and Windows Project: You will use them daily for the control of plans, the economic certifications of the works, and the millimeter-precise monitoring of the work schedule.

• Proficiency in structural calculation software and HEC-RAS: These will be your technical allies to verify the behavior of the hydraulic infrastructures attached to the roads (drainage, channeling) and to ensure that the adopted solutions are fully safe.

• Residency in Figueres or surroundings: The project is rooted in the area, and we want you to enjoy good work-life balance by minimizing daily commuting times.

In your day-to-day, you will not be limited to filling out reports; you will be the engine driving the success of the works in Figueres and its surroundings:

• Lead, supervise, and direct the on-site execution of the road project to ensure rigorous compliance with delivery deadlines, budgeted costs, and the highest standards of quality and road safety, achieving the ability to see the real impact of your daily work.

• Proactively coordinate and manage subcontractors and suppliers, establishing relationships of mutual trust so that the workflow advances at the right pace and with total synchronization.

• Perform technical planning and detailed economic monitoring of the works through the control of certifications, budgets, and deviation analysis, using economic management tools to optimize project resources.

• Validate technical solutions in the field facing structural or hydraulic challenges, using specialized software to resolve incidents with agility and providing expert judgment when the terrain requires design modifications.

• Act as the reference technical interlocutor for the Project Management and clients, guaranteeing fluid, decisive, and transparent communication that consolidates the credibility of our division in the area.
