About the role

Are you motivated to participate in high-impact technical shutdowns in the oil & gas sector?
Are you looking for an intensive, technical project with autonomy, where your judgement makes a difference in industrial safety and reliability?

At OCA Global we want to bring on board a PSV Engineer to collaborate on the technical shutdown of the Repsol Refinery in Tarragona, within the petroleum site.

You will be part of the technical team responsible for ensuring that nothing is left to chance during one of the most critical phases of the facility.

What you'll do

You will analyse, review and validate the PSVs during the technical shutdown, ensuring their correct operation in accordance with the client's regulations and procedures.

You will review technical documentation, reports and test results to ensure the traceability, quality and reliability of each action carried out.

You will work directly on site, coordinating with other technical and operational teams to meet demanding deadlines without compromising safety.

You will ensure that all actions comply with industrial safety standards and the technical requirements of the oil & gas environment.

What we're looking for

  • Engineering degree (Industrial, Mechanical or similar): necessary to interpret PSV technical and regulatory criteria.

  • Experience with safety valves (PSV): key to working with autonomy in a technical shutdown environment.

  • Knowledge of the industrial/refinery environment: this will allow you to adapt quickly to the pace and demands of the project.

  • Availability for 12-hour shifts during technical shutdown: essential to cover the project's operational needs.

  • Ability to work under pressure and a results-driven approach: essential in environments where deadlines are critical.
