Pressure Equipment, Welding and PED Inspection Engineer

As a Pressure Equipment and Welding Inspection Engineer at our Sant Cugat office, your work will not be limited to applying current regulations; you will be the direct guarantor of industrial safety and operational excellence.

• Manufacturing control and PED Directive: Handle and lead requests under the Pressure Equipment Directive (PED), managing manufacturing control and verifying material traceability.

• Field and workshop inspection: Carry out dynamic visits to workshops and facilities to supervise welding, qualifications and procedures under ASME, EN and AD-2000 standards.

• Testing and certification: Supervise and validate Non-Destructive Testing (NDT), ensuring the structural integrity of equipment before it is put into service.

• Technical support to the department: Provide technical opinions and rapid analytical resolutions within the Regulatory Inspections area to raise the team's quality standards.

• Documentation management and traceability: Ensure the preparation of inspection reports and technical files in compliance with regulations.

• Between 3 and 4 years of experience at a Control Body (CB) or Notified Body (NB).

• Specialized technical background in Mechanical, Industrial, Materials, Chemical Engineering or similar, preferably focused on PT - Liquid Penetrant Testing. Specific knowledge and certifications such as IWE or ASME courses will be vital for auditing and qualifying with pinpoint accuracy.

• Operational mobility: You will have a company vehicle for your trips to local workshops. You will need a valid driver's license (no long-distance travel required, prioritizing your work-life balance).

• Digital fluency: We will highly value your familiarity with SAP and Salesforce environments, as they will greatly ease your daily document management.

• Autonomy and technical trust: You will work in an environment that respects your professional judgment, surrounded by a highly specialized team that speaks your language and celebrates technical rigor.

• Optimistic schedule and work-life balance: You will work Monday to Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., but you will enjoy a continuous working day from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. every Friday, on all days before public holidays, and during the full months of July and August. In addition, December 24 and 31 are days off for everyone, so you can disconnect when it matters most.

Regulatory Inspection Division

Como Ingeniero/a de Inspección de Equipos a Presión y Soldadura en nuestra sede de Sant Cugat, tu labor no se limitará a aplicar normativas vigentes; serás el garante directo de la seguridad industrial y la excelencia operativa.

• Control de fabricación y Directiva PED: Atender y liderar las solicitudes de la Directiva de Equipos a Presión (PED), gestionando el control de fabricación y verificando la trazabilidad de los materiales.

• Inspección en campo y talleres: Realizar visitas dinámicas a talleres e instalaciones para la supervisión de soldaduras, homologaciones y procedimientos bajo normativas ASME, EN y AD-2000.

• Ensayos y certificación: Supervisar y validar las pruebas de Ensayos No Destructivos (END), asegurando la integridad estructural de los equipos antes de su puesta en servicio.

• Soporte técnico al departamento: Aportar dictámenes técnicos y resoluciones analíticas rápidas dentro del área de Inspecciones Reglamentarias para elevar los estándares de calidad del equipo.

• Gestión documental y trazabilidad: Garantizar la elaboración de informes de inspección y expedientes técnicos cumpliendo con la normativa.

• Experiencia de entre 3 y 4 años en un Organismo de Control (OC) u Organismo Notificado (ON).

• Base técnica especializada en Ingeniería Mecánica, Industrial, de Materiales, Química o similar, preferiblemente enfocada en PT - Ensayos por líquidos penetrantes. Los conocimientos específicos y certificaciones como IWE o cursos ASME serán vitales para auditar y homologar con precisión milimétrica.

• Movilidad operativa: Contarás con vehículo de empresa para tus desplazamientos a los talleres locales. Necesitarás carnet de conducir en vigor (no se requieren viajes de larga distancia, priorizando tu conciliación).

• Fluidez digital: Valoraremos mucho tu familiaridad con entornos SAP y Salesforce, ya que te facilitarán enormemente la gestión documental diaria.

• Autonomía y confianza técnica: Trabajarás en un entorno que respeta tu criterio profesional, rodeado de un equipo altamente especializado que entiende tu idioma y celebra el rigor técnico.

• Horario optimista y conciliación: Trabajarás de lunes a jueves de 8:30 a 18:00 h, pero disfrutarás de jornada intensiva de 8:30 a 15:30 h todos los viernes, todas las vísperas de festivo y durante los meses completos de julio y agosto. Además, los días 24 y 31 de diciembre son libres para todos, para que desconectes cuando más importa.
