What we're looking for

Ability to modify parameters on the CNC control.
Vocational training (FP) in machining or equivalent. Ideally: "Programming of production in mechanical manufacturing" or "Design in mechanical manufacturing"
+2/3 years of experience with different types of machines: lathe, 3-5 axis machining center, multi-function, etc.
Experience with different types of metals: aluminum, stainless steel, copper, titanium, high-nickel alloys, etc.
Ability to choose the most suitable tools as well as calculate working conditions.
Ability to program in ISO code at the machine.
Ability to read and understand drawings and technical specifications.
Extensive knowledge of dimensional and geometric tolerances.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team.
Ability to work with CAD/CAM programs.
Knowledge of the CNC control environment: Fanuc, Heidenhain, Okuma, etc.
Maintain the required order and cleanliness in the machining area.
Other workshop tasks assigned to you.

Nice to have

+3 years of experience in machining processes.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office products: Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.
Effective communication skills.
English
Forklift course.
Overhead crane operator course.

The role

As a machining technician, your main mission within the area will be to prepare the different machine tools, as well as to rework the manufactured parts.

What you'll do

Operate CNC machining machines and manual tools to produce precise metal parts according to the provided drawings and specifications.
Experience using manual machining machines, parallel lathe, universal milling machine.
Inspect and measure the produced parts to ensure quality and compliance with company standards.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on machining machines and tools to ensure their proper operation and extend their useful life.
Work as a team with other departments to coordinate production and ensure delivery deadlines are met efficiently.
