What we're looking for

Currently studying Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, Higher Vocational Training (FP) in ASIR, DAM, DAW, or similar technical training.
Basic knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems.
Familiarity with Git and fundamental concepts of version control.
Basic knowledge of scripting or programming, preferably Bash, PowerShell, or Python.
General knowledge of networks, computer systems, and technological infrastructures.
Interest in automation, cloud technologies, and DevOps methodologies.
Ability to learn, organization, initiative, and a predisposition to work in a team.

Nice to have

Basic knowledge of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) and tools such as Jenkins or Groovy.
Familiarity with Docker and Docker Compose.
Introductory knowledge of a cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Notions of relational databases and SQL, especially PostgreSQL, Oracle, or SQL Server.
Knowledge of Python for scripting and automation.
Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools, such as Terraform or Ansible.
Interest in monitoring, cybersecurity, and the administration of technological infrastructures.

The role

At AVOS Tech, a company of the Prosegur Group, we are looking for a DevOps Intern to join our technology team and participate in projects related to process automation, continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD), systems administration, and cloud infrastructures.

We are looking for a person with an interest in the DevOps world, motivation to learn, and a desire to develop their technical knowledge in a professional environment. You will have the opportunity to work with different technologies, collaborate with experienced professionals, and acquire practical experience in the management and optimization of technological platforms.

What you'll do

Collaborate in the implementation and maintenance of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, using tools and technologies such as Groovy.
Participate in the management of Git repositories, learning best practices for version control and branch management.
Support the creation, configuration, and maintenance of container environments using Docker and Docker Compose.
Develop and maintain simple automation scripts with Bash and PowerShell to optimize operational tasks.
Collaborate in the administration and monitoring of cloud infrastructures on platforms such as GCP, AWS, and Azure.
Provide support in configuration, maintenance, and management tasks for Oracle, PostgreSQL, and SQL Server databases.
Participate in the administration of Linux and Windows systems, collaborating in the identification and resolution of incidents.
Document technical procedures, configurations, and automations, contributing to the continuous improvement of the team.
