Requirements

What we're looking for

Student or recent graduate of:
- Higher Degree in Electrical and Automated Systems.
- Higher Degree in Industrial Automation and Robotics.
- Higher Degree in Telecommunications and Computer Systems.
- Electronic, Electrical Engineering, or similar.
Ability to interpret drawings and technical documentation.
Basic knowledge of:
- Electronics and electricity.
- Power supplies and electronic devices.
- Cabling and installations.
- Power, voltage, and electrical consumption.
Proficiency with digital tools and the ability to learn new software quickly.
Organized, methodical and detail-oriented profile.
Ability to work with technical information rigorously.

Nice to have

Knowledge related to LED lighting or lighting installations.
Academic experience in electrical or electronic projects.
Basic knowledge of AutoCAD or ability to read CAD drawings.

The role

At Proto we develop dynamic lighting technology to transform spaces into unique experiences. We work on architecture, retail, hospitality, office, facade, and other projects where light plays a key role in the user experience.

We are looking for an intern with a technical profile and strong attention to detail to support the project specification process.

What you'll do

Assist in the preparation and technical specification of dynamic lighting projects, ensuring that the information needed to design and budget each solution is accurate and consistent.

Review plans and technical project documentation.
Analyze the technical needs of each project to facilitate its correct specification.
Use internal AI-based tools to generate and validate technical specifications.
Collect, organize, and keep project technical information up to date.
Support the selection of appropriate components and devices for each solution.
Prepare supporting documentation for proposals and budgets.
Collaborate with the Sales, Product, and Integration teams to ensure the quality of technical information.
Participate in the continuous improvement of specification processes and tools.
