Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive patient care before, during, and after the surgical procedure, promoting health education, in coordination with the rest of the team, applying the knowledge specific to their category and following the guidelines set by the center based on the area's care protocols, contributing to offering a service of excellent quality.
Competencies:
1. Ability to perform a comprehensive assessment of the patient in critical condition.
2. Ability to perform pediatric triage, if the center has the capability, manage pediatric patients, and handle special devices (VAC, PICCO, PICC, Pleurevac).
3. Ability to handle special equipment (AIRVO, V60, TRILOGY, serum warmer, capnograph).
4. Ability to classify and manage patients by urgency level (triage).
5. Knowledge of emergency intubation material and technique.
