About the role

Do you have experience as an AI and Automation Specialist and are you ready to take the leap into a leadership role in a powerful corporate environment?

We are looking for an AI and Automation Specialist for our client, a leading hotel chain, to join on-site at their headquarters.

We are seeking a professional to work in collaboration with the Data & Analytics Manager in the role of AI and Automation Specialist. Your main mission will be to drive the adoption of artificial intelligence and process automation, designing and implementing use cases that generate tangible business value, in collaboration with the Data, Applications, and business operations teams.

What you'll do

  • Identify and prioritize generative AI use cases with impact on hotel operations and corporate processes (customer service, revenue management, marketing, back-office).
  • Design prototypes and proof of concepts (PoCs) to validate the technical feasibility and business value of each use case.
  • Collaborate with business areas to define requirements and evaluate the results of implemented models.
  • Evaluate and select the most suitable generative AI platforms and models (LLMs), considering cost, performance, and data security.
  • Identify manual and repetitive processes suitable for automation (RPA, workflows) in administrative, financial, and operational areas.
  • Design, develop, and implement automation solutions in coordination with the owners of each process.
  • Measure the impact of implemented automations (time savings, error reduction, user experience improvement).
  • Maintain and evolve existing automations, ensuring their robustness against changes in source systems.
  • Deploy and integrate corporate AI copilots and assistants (based on Microsoft Copilot, proprietary platforms, or others) into daily work tools across the group.
  • Define policies for the responsible use of generative AI together with the Head of IT Governance and Data Protection.
  • Train and support key users in adopting available copilots and AI tools.
  • Monitor the usage, adoption, and value return of implemented copilots.
  • Design and develop predictive models to support decision-making (occupancy, demand, predictive maintenance, cancellation risk, among others).
  • Collaborate with Data Engineers and Data Analysts on the preparation and quality of data needed for model training.
  • Validate model performance and ensure proper deployment into production, in coordination with Data and Applications teams.
  • Monitor and retrain models periodically to maintain their accuracy over time.
  • Collaborate with the Head of IT Governance and Data Protection in assessing ethical, legal, and privacy risks associated with AI use (including compliance with the European AI Regulation).
  • Document models and developed use cases (purpose, data used, limitations, results) according to transparency and traceability criteria.
  • Stay up to date on technological and regulatory developments in AI applicable to the hotel sector.
  • Internally disseminate the capabilities and limitations of AI to promote responsible use by teams.

Languages

  • Languages: Spanish: native or bilingual. English: advanced level (B2/C1), essential for tracking technological developments and managing relationships with international suppliers.

Requirements

  • Education: Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, or similar. Specialized training in AI/Machine Learning or certifications in cloud AI platforms (Azure AI, AWS AI/ML, Google Cloud AI) is highly valued.
  • Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of experience in artificial intelligence, process automation (RPA), or data science projects. Previous experience implementing generative AI solutions or corporate copilots (highly valued). Experience in the hotel, tourism, or retail sector with high volumes of transactional data (valued).
  • Technical skills: Large language models (LLMs) and generative AI tools (OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Copilot, or others). Experience with data science languages and tools (Python, SQL, ML libraries). Knowledge of process automation tools (Power Automate, UiPath, or others). Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS) and MLOps concepts.

Benefits and conditions

  • Stability: Permanent contract, full-time position.
  • Work-life balance schedule: Monday to Thursday from 8:30 AM to 2:00 PM and 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM, and Friday from 8:30 AM to 2:30 PM.
  • Work model: on-site at the corporate headquarters (possibility of a hybrid scheme depending on group policy).
  • Availability for occasional travel to hotels as part of pilot projects.
