About the role

What you'll do

Frontend Development with React and Next.js: Create interactive, modular, and high-performance user interfaces using React and the latest versions of Next.js (App Router, Server Components).

Render Optimization: Implement the appropriate rendering strategy for each use case: Server-Side Rendering (SSR), Static Site Generation (SSG), or Client-Side Rendering (CSR), ensuring load speed and SEO.

Backend Development and APIs: Design and build efficient APIs (REST or GraphQL) using Node.js (Express, NestJS) or through Next.js Serverless Route Handlers and native Server Actions.

Data Modeling and Management: Design database schemas and manage data access using modern ORMs, ensuring fast and efficient queries.

Layout and Styling: Implement responsive designs faithful to UX/UI prototypes using tools such as Tailwind CSS, CSS Modules, or Styled Components.

Quality Assurance: Write clean code using TypeScript, perform unit and integration testing (Jest, React Testing Library, Playwright/Cypress), and participate in code reviews.

Deployment and DevOps: Collaborate on automating deployments (CI/CD) on platforms optimized for Next.js (Vercel, AWS, Netlify) and manage version control with Git.

Requirements

Demonstrable experience as a Full Stack Engineer or Web Developer working within the JavaScript/TypeScript ecosystem.

Advanced proficiency in React (Hooks, Context, state management) and Next.js (Server Components concepts, routing, image and font optimization).

Solid experience in backend development with Node.js (whether with traditional frameworks or with Next.js's integrated backend).

Mastery of TypeScript, advanced HTML5 and CSS3 (valuable experience with Tailwind CSS).

Experience with ORMs (Prisma, Drizzle, Mongoose) and relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) or NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis).

Experience in creating, consuming, and securing APIs (authentication with JWT, NextAuth.js / Auth.js, Clerk).

Proficiency with version control tools using Git/GitHub.
