About the role

What you'll do

Main duties:

  • Lead the implementation of the Lean model defined by Supply Chain International in ALDI Spain and Portugal's logistics centers, ensuring its correct adaptation, integration, and sustainability.
  • Promote Lean culture within the organization, supporting and advising Regional Logistics Managers, Regional Lean Technicians, and operational teams in the daily application of the methodology.
  • Design, coordinate, and deliver Lean methodology training (National Lean Academy), ensuring team training and the correct application of standards.
  • Promote and organize Kaizen, Yokoten events, and continuous improvement workshops, both in-person and remote.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement in logistics processes, defining, implementing, and monitoring corrective actions.
  • Design and lead cross-functional logistics processes aimed at operational efficiency.
  • Identify, share, and standardize best practices among logistics centers, promoting structured continuous improvement.
  • Ensure the correct implementation of Daily Management tools and team boards, guaranteeing the understanding and use of indicators by the teams.
  • Conduct Lean audits in logistics centers and support teams in their evolution towards the model.
  • Monitor the impact of Lean initiatives through the analysis of KPIs and dashboards, preparing reports and reports for decision-making.
  • Manage incidents and queries within the scope of responsibility, providing continuous support to teams.
  • Promote effective cross-functional and vertical communication within the organization.
  • Participate in international Lean forums and sessions, aligning local initiatives with the global strategy.

Requirements

  • University degree in Engineering, Business Administration and Management, Economics, or similar.
  • Specific training in LEAN methodology.
  • Minimum Yellow Belt certification in Lean or equivalent.
  • At least 4 years of experience implementing and developing the Lean philosophy and methodology in industrial environments.
  • Solid knowledge of Lean tools: Kaizen, 5S, VSM, Daily Management, process standardization, problem-solving (A3, PDCA, etc.).
  • Experience in defining, controlling, and optimizing Key Performance Indicators.
  • Ability to train, influence, and support operational teams and middle management.
  • Availability to travel frequently within the national and international territory.
  • Experience working with indicators and data analysis using Excel and/or PowerBI.
  • Fluency in Spanish and English is essential.
