The role
Are you passionate about doing a job well and looking for stability in a large company?
We are looking for a CNC Machining Operator. You will be responsible for shaping our raw materials by operating state-of-the-art machining centers to ensure maximum precision in cutting, milling, and drilling each piece. If you are a meticulous person with a technical vocation and enjoy a cutting-edge industrial environment, we want to hear from you!
What you'll do
Machine preparation and feeding: Load raw materials (boards, wood panels, or derivatives) onto the machine worktable and feed the CNC machine according to the production schedule.
CNC center operation and adjustment: Interpret work orders and execute machining programs (cutting, milling, drilling, grooving, and edging) on panel saws, routers, or multi-axis machining centers.
Tool and fixture changes: Perform the change, centering, and adjustment of drills, mills, saws, and vacuum cups according to the type of machining or the thickness of the board to be processed.
Dimensional and quality control: Measure and inspect the first pieces of each batch using calipers, tape measures, or gauges to ensure that dimensions, clearances, and machined features strictly comply with the technical drawing.
Deviation detection and correction: Identify machining faults (drill misalignment, chipped edges, misaligned holes) and make small adjustments to parameters or notify the programming/maintenance technicians.
First-level maintenance: Clean the machining area, vacuum up chips/dust, and perform basic lubrication of the machinery to ensure its optimal operation.
Requirements
Experience: 6 months to 1 year of prior experience operating CNC machining centers, panel saws, or routers, preferably in the wood, furniture, or board processing sector.
Highly valued: Intermediate Vocational Training (FP1) in Machining, Carpentry and Furniture, or Mechanical Manufacturing (or demonstrable equivalent experience operating CNC machining centers).
