About the role

Are you passionate about opening new frontiers in the food sector? We are looking for an Overseas Export Manager

Are you an international sales professional who doesn't settle for traditional markets? If you have consolidated experience in overseas markets (Asia, America, Africa), master the complexity of long-distance maritime logistics, and are looking for a project with real growth, this is your opportunity.

At Randstad Professionals we select strategic talent. For one of our most dynamic clients in the horticultural sector in the province of Valencia, we are looking for an Overseas Export Manager / Overseas Export Manager with between 8 and 10 years of experience, ready to lead the expansion in long-distance markets.

What you'll do

The selected candidate will assume responsibility for consolidating and expanding the company's presence in overseas markets, leading the commercial strategy in key destinations (Asia, India, North America, Brazil and/or Africa).

Design and implementation of the commercial strategy for the assigned overseas markets, defining volume, margin, and brand positioning objectives.

Acquisition and retention of major accounts: Opening new clients at destination (importers, distributors, wholesalers, and major supermarket chains).

Negotiation of annual supply programs (volumes, prices, loading schedules, and payment terms).

Management of the complete sales and international logistics cycle: Coordination with the Quality, Production, and Logistics departments to ensure that the product complies with the strict phytosanitary and customs protocols of each destination country (long maritime transit times).

Market analysis and prospecting: Monitoring of competition, consumption trends, local commercial windows, and behavior of competing supply (Southern Hemisphere vs. local production).

Representation of the company at the main international trade fairs of the sector (Fruit Logistica, Asia Fruit Logistica, IFPA, etc.).

Requirements

Experience: Minimum of 8 to 10 years of proven experience in the sale of horticultural products (fresh) in overseas markets (solid experience in one or more of the target destinations: Asia, India, North America, Brazil, Africa is essential).

Technical Knowledge: Absolute mastery of maritime export operations (long transits, controlled atmospheres, cold chain) and rigorous knowledge of the specific phytosanitary protocols for the entry of fruit/vegetables into these countries.

Languages: Bilingual or Very Fluent English (C1/C2). The mastery of a third language (French for Africa, Portuguese for Brazil, or Mandarin for Asia) will be highly valued.

Client Portfolio: Contribution of a network of contacts or direct knowledge of the main importers/receivers in the destination markets.

Skills: High negotiation capacity under pressure, results orientation by volume/margin, proactive and resolute profile in the face of incidents at destination.

Availability: Total flexibility to travel internationally and adaptability to different time zones for the management of clients in different time zones.

Benefits and conditions

High-Impact Project: Immediate incorporation into a company with significant growth and a very sound and ambitious structure.

Attractive Compensation Package: Attractive fixed salary (negotiable according to value and experience provided).

Autonomy and Leadership: You will lead the strategy of the assigned markets with a direct line to Management, having a real weight in commercial decision-making.

Professional Stability: Permanent contract in a solid, young company with an exceptional future projection in the horticultural sector.
