Demonstrable experience in at least one of the following processes:
MIG-MAG welding (Heavy structure / Boilermaking / Sheet metal).
TIG welding (Stainless steel / Aluminum / Piping).
Shielded Metal Arc Welding (MMA).
Reading and interpretation of mechanical and welding blueprints.
Valuable experience in handling workshop tools (angle grinder, grinder, shears) is a plus.
Basic ORP training in metal carpentry / metal (20h or 60h) is highly valued.

Preparation and assembly:
Reading and interpretation of mechanical, assembly, and welding blueprints.
Layout, cutting, beveling, and punching of metal parts using mechanical or manual tools (angle grinder, chop saw, oxy-fuel cutting, plasma).
Positioning, assembly, and tack welding of structures or parts before final welding.
Welding and joining processes:
Execution of welds according to assigned procedure (MIG-MAG, TIG, or Electrode), guaranteeing the required penetration, tightness, and quality.
Proper selection and regulation of welding equipment parameters (amperage, voltage, wire speed, shielding gas flow rate).
Cleaning, deburring, and surface finishing of welds (removal of slag and spatter).
Quality control and maintenance:
Visual inspection of weld beads to detect possible pores, cracks, or discontinuities.
Dimensional verification of the finished part against blueprints.
Cleaning, lubrication, and basic preventive maintenance of welding equipment and tools.
Strict compliance with Occupational Risk Prevention (ORP) regulations and use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Residence in Álava or surrounding areas (Vitoria-Gasteiz, Llodio, Amurrio, etc.).
Working day: Rotating shifts or full-time (depending on the project).
