Requirements

What we're looking for

  • We will especially value Vocational Training (FP) related to the electrical field, although it is not an essential requirement.

  • A university degree in Engineering is not necessary, nor do you need to be a technical specialist in High Voltage: you will have the support of Engineering to resolve the necessary technical aspects.

  • We are looking for a person with experience or the capacity to handle tasks in coordination, project monitoring, purchasing, procurement, logistics, or order management.

  • Ability to work simultaneously with a high volume of projects, maintaining orderly, structured, and constant monitoring.

  • Knowledge or experience working with SAP will be valued.

  • Initiative and proactivity: we need someone who drives actions and follows up until they obtain the necessary information or response.

  • Resilience and perseverance to coordinate clients and different internal teams.

  • Communicative and extroverted profile, comfortable relating to multiple interlocutors.

  • Organized, methodical, and structured person, capable of establishing priorities without losing sight of the different ongoing projects.

  • Curiosity to progressively understand the technical environment will be highly valued. You do not need to master it from the start, but you will have the opportunity to acquire knowledge as you advance in the position.

  • English will be an additional plus, although it is not essential.

  • Availability to undertake occasional national travel.

Pay & benefits

What you'll get

  • Support from our technical team from day one.

  • Hybrid work model, with the possibility of performing up to 3 days of teleworking per week.

  • Flexible compensation where you can acquire services such as health insurance and childcare vouchers.

  • Wellhub: gym plans and discounts for your well-being.

  • Training opportunities at your disposal through the RDT Campus and language courses.

  • Participation in projects linked to the energy sector and High Voltage.

  • A position with autonomy and a significant coordination component, in direct contact with different areas and clients.

  • Expected start date for January 2027, with the possibility of moving it forward if we find the right person sooner.

The role

Are you motivated by coordinating projects, connecting different teams, and ensuring everything is prepared so that the installation starts on time and in the correct manner?

At RDT Ingenieros we are looking to expand our High Voltage (HV) area team and incorporate a Project Preparation Coordinator to work in a hybrid modality in Vilanova i la Geltrú (Barcelona), with the possibility of working up to 3 days of teleworking per week.

Your mission will be to coordinate the information flow and the necessary actions from the internal launch of a new order until the start of the installation phase, ensuring that materials are correctly defined, acquired at the expected cost, and available within the necessary deadlines.

You will work on an active portfolio of approximately 30-40 projects, mainly in the coordination of fastening and grounding elements, whose scope is finalized as the client's detailed engineering progresses. You will have the support of the Engineering team for technical matters: above all, we are looking for someone capable of coordinating, following up, and ensuring that actions move forward.

What you'll do

  • Monitor projects from their launch until the start of the installation phase.

  • Contact the client's project interlocutors to request and follow up on the final construction documentation.

  • Coordinate with the Engineering team to obtain the appropriate solution based on the documentation received.

  • Compare the costs of the final solution against those initially contemplated in the offer.

  • Detect possible economic deviations and report them to the Sales team for review.

  • Enter and manage purchase requests in SAP.

  • Coordinate purchasing needs with the Procurement and Logistics teams.

  • Follow up on materials, deadlines, and pending actions to guarantee their availability when assembly begins.

  • Maintain a global and updated view of the status of a simultaneous portfolio of approximately 30-40 projects.

  • Coordinate and continuously follow up with different internal and external interlocutors, anticipating possible blockages and ensuring that pending actions move forward.

Hiring process

If you are one of those people who enjoy making things happen, who do not leave a matter pending until they ensure it moves forward, and who know how to maintain control when there are many projects on the table, this could be your next challenge.

Apply and tell us what you can bring to the team. And if you know someone who fits this way of working, share the opportunity!
