From RDT Ingenieros we are recruiting a Project Engineer for Mechanical Installations to join an international leader in engineering and consulting, working on high technical value projects in building and infrastructure.

We are looking for a person with experience, client focus, and a desire to take part in unique projects, from the design phase through to commissioning.

What you'll do

Your main duties will be:

  • Design and calculation of HVAC, ventilation, fire protection, water supply, and sanitation systems.

  • Preparation of drawings, technical specifications, cost estimates, technical reports, and proposals.

  • Verification of compliance with current regulations and project quality standards.

  • Technical support to clients during the design, execution, and commissioning phases.

  • Involvement in project management, proposal development, and client relations.

  • Collaboration in coordinating technical teams.

What we're looking for

  • Degree in Industrial Engineering or Technical Industrial Engineering (Mechanical specialty).

  • 5 to 10 years of experience in the design of mechanical installations in building projects (commercial, healthcare, industrial, transportation, infrastructure, and unique projects…).

  • Previous experience in engineering and/or architecture firms at a national or international level.

  • Involvement in project management and client relations.

  • English level B2 or higher.

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of international standards (ASHRAE, NFPA).

  • Mastery of local regulations (CTE, RITE, RIPCI, RSCIEI).
