What we're looking for

Consolidated experience of at least 10 years as an electrical designer in industrial projects.
Proficiency in MicroStation as the main design tool.
Valid driver's license and availability to make technical visits to industrial facilities.

We are looking for someone with analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams. We particularly value initiative, autonomy in project development, organisational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

Nice to have

Experience with AutoCAD Plant 3D, SP3D, or PDS will be valued.
Highly valued experience in industrial process sectors, especially Oil & Gas, energy, or petrochemicals.
Knowledge of document and engineering management tools such as Smart Intools or similar.

The role

At RDT we are looking to hire an Electrical and Instrumentation & Control (I&C) Senior Designer to take part in the development of industrial engineering projects, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team in the design and improvement of process facilities.

If you have a solid track record in industrial electrical projects and are motivated to work in demanding technical environments, we want to meet you.

What you'll do

You will join the engineering team, taking part in the development of technical solutions for new construction projects and the improvement of existing facilities. Your responsibilities will include:

Development of detailed engineering in the Electrical and Instrumentation & Control disciplines.
Preparation and updating of drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.
Design of cable trays, wiring, electrical equipment layout, and associated systems.
Coordination with other engineering disciplines to ensure the correct integration of technical solutions.
Carrying out plant visits for data collection, technical checks, and resolution of design issues.
Support in defining materials and documentation required for procurement and execution.
Management and review of technical documentation generated throughout the project life cycle.

On-site work in A Coruña, with direct contact with the plant and project teams.
